Larry was my instructor in apprentice school. He was very passionate about making sure we knew what he was teaching us. Not only did he teach us about the business, he taught us about life. Larry is the best. Any tool tip he gives is proven in the field.

What I read here about that man Larry: Nothing beats a good system of apprenticeship and proper schooling when it comes to getting young folks into a proper trade. "Handcrafts has a golden bottom" is what the Germans say.

It’s either a 30 or a 45 when it comes to offsets and u should be able to tell what degree it’s bent at just by looking at it the most important part is measuring to the center of that bend to replicate it once u find the center ur ready to bend the pipe

Another trick: 9 plus 16 make 25; the square roots of these numbers are 3, 4 and 5, yes, good old Pythagoreas. Take two links (=4) from the middle of a folding rule and then one and a half links ( corresponds to 3) to the left of it and two and a half links (=5) to the right of it and form a triangle from those three stretches. When you place the 1.5 and 2.5 stretch above each other carefully you have your 90° there.

funny...this guy does this....no one says a word...I create the offset ruler and get a bunch of hatred comments? hows this not 100% race? this country is something else. the comments got worse without me even having to be on the account commenting till now. this guy does this and he is "smart" and wise. I do what I did, and I am called and assumed to be an "apprentice: using a "cheater stick" who "doesnt know the math"
I am called as being stupid. Inexperienced.
so if all we have to do is be a guy on a video screen and take this level of abuse, guess what your people are doing on the job? he truth is, we as black inventors know one thing...We have no option but to get white people to sell our products unless the product is "urban", such as headsets for hip hop or something.
Its sad. But I didnt want to do that, so I just did what I did, knowing I would sell to mostly people that could get past my being black. And I would have it no other way.
