Vessel is such a high quality brand!
I first learned about JIS from bicycle mechanics, because all the Shimano derailleur adjustments are JIS screws. My friend in Japan ordered me a vessel screw driver for $3 on Amazon Japan back in 2015. But wow they really expanded their line up now with specialty tools.
The knurling on the shank makes such a difference for me. I love their designs.
There amazing screwdrivers. I've bought all the sizes all over again. They fit Phillips better than a Phillips. Very comfy high quality stuff

I LOVE my Vessel screwdrivers! For working on my atvs and dirtbikes they are all I use, for obvious reasons! I have the 2200, I have no idea it separated at the ball for inserting bits into! Learn something new every day..😎

I recently purchased Vessel eva foam screwdriver set for my fleet of my Japanese vehicles (ok, fleet may be exaggeration.....four of them).
Didn't know why I was stripping some screws until recently. Problem solved!!!
Mr. Subaru, hate to tell you this but my evasoft set also came with the Vessel sticker so it's on your floor somewhere.

I've looked through the Japanese Vessel catalog before and never seen those hose remover picks. I knew the foam trays and all of the driver sets were unique to NA, but I'm surprised that they offer actual tools that they don't sell domestically in Japan.

My favourite Vessel tool is their super handy, long-reach, offset/bent handle trim tool. Multiple uses over the years. Catches the attention of everyone who's seen it.

I got one of the ballgrips on order and its your fault. Lol after seeing your previous tool video and bruising a paw on a screwdriver handle working on an early kubota. Not mad. Thank you for the info and vids. Ill probably order kore
I have one of their ball grip jis and it grips screws great. My old witte’s finally found some competition.
I ordered the jis but the driver says p2 on it so I’m not sure which one I actually received but it works well.
I’ve heard a lot about vessel will these be good to use on regular Philips and jis? Do these beat the Matco screwdriver set? Thanks

My first vessel screwdriver was one of the ball grip #1 jis, it works way better for phillips screws. I like it better than the wera it replaced. Still a big fan of wera as well

Question on the Vessel’s. Are they all JIS? As I just striped a combo screw/bolt on my Mitsubishi Pajero using a vessel screwdriver purchased in Japan. Luckily I was able to use a 10mm socket to remove the fastener. Could just be that I was wrenching on a 20 year old SUV.

A drive set would be nice however more importantly a question. How long did you work on Subaru’s then found out you needed JIS driver’s? I want Megadora.
modern "Phillips" bits are not as hardcore as the original, plenty of tweaks & changes to the flank angle.
Phillip’s were designed to roll out so they could never be torqued down. All electronics fixtures are JIS as well but on much small screws. Thus why Posi Drives were needed for the big guys.

Also, any tips on cat effiency codes around the '03 Outback 2.5 era? Rrcurring only after an upstream O² sensor replacement for a burned out heater side of the sensor. Replaced with a new Denso that was obviously made of pure U235 and coated with powdered elephant tusk... (just goin off of price comparison..)
Good to replace up and downstream sensor together. A new sensor and an old sensor may show false catalysts efficiency codes.
