Really nice content, production and just the right length. And I really agree about the treadmill vs the road. The treadmill has its place but there’s no comparison to pounding the pavement. Thanks so much.
Love it! One of the things that I always say at the end of my videos is to "express gratitude and enjoy every mile". I believe that running is gratitude in motion. Gratitude for who we are becoming, reaching for our best self, and gratitude for all that we have (our body, friends, family, supporters, health, capabilities, potential, etc.). Always appreciate your example and vicarious motivation (time to do a speed workout!).
A loose expansion on your gratitude thoughts: People always talk about how much they “sacrifice” to get something or to do this or that. I am more of the mindset that training is an “investment”. Ex: your family members didn’t sacrifice a lot to help you to get to this race. They invested in you and your growth to help you perform your best and reach your full potential because they care about you.
