The Aurora M-109 is the first plastic model kit I can remember building back in my single digits. Of course when Atlantis repopped the kit I had to acquire and build (slightly better this time…😂). It’ll be part of my 1/48 Atlantis armor 3 of a kind photo. Pretty cool little convoy. Blue moon, you saw me standin’ aloooonnnneeee…
I've done two of the Atlantis repopped M-109s. The long barrel and short barrel variants. Those Shermans and Priest look mighty good. I loved seeing things like that when doing long distance driving. 😊
Strange things I've seen on flatbeds: A6M2 PB-5 Catalina (Wings were on a trailing flatbed. It wasn't one of Kermit's) CH-53 CH-46 Jackson Tank Destroyer (Probably Deland's)
Terrific video, it made my insomniac early AM more than bearable! Ah, just another couple days in an airman’s life. When my wife gets up I will show it to her. Thanks Max have a great live stream.
This past July the wife and I went for a visit to our hometown in northeast Texas. The local Ollie's had their usual small assortment of Atlantis kits, plus the Polar Lights Godzilla's Go Cart for $12.99. I snatched up a couple of those plus an AMT Dan Gurney Lotus Racer.
I built a bunch of the 1/40 Aurora tank kits back in the 1970's. Not bad for the time, or the price. Yes, the M-109 was one of the kits I built. Nice seeing the old TWA terminal. I flew out of there many years ago several times before they built the new terminal. I'm always amazed by the size difference between monsters like the A-380 and 747 versus the A-320 and 737. The smaller planes look like there in the wrong scale compared to the big ones. That parade of museum armor was great. Also, wasn't I-4 built with a permanent traffic jam?
I recently almost bought an Italeri M109 but had my first bad experience on eBay and canceled it. But I did get the Italeri M107 and M110 within a week of canceling the 109. I was definitely in a "big boom" mood. 😊

Three Shermans and a Priest, you lucky boy.

Thunderstorms being thunderstorms. :)😊
Don't thank me.... Be more weather aware as Aviation people should already be. :)

Years ago I saw a really battered M3 scout car on a flatbed.
The CAF were doing maneuvers last weekend. Lots of hard and soft skins running around the 401.
Likely doing the annual MILCON exercise
@@gryph01 - I believe that was it.
Those museum pieces are in excellent condition.
Great update
I bought an M109 at Ollies this summer as well. It’s next up for the bench. Interested to see your review.
Thank you.

There was a series of those Monopoly kits. I think there were three of them.
It would have been fun watching them loading the tanks.
Outstanding video.
Watch cool runnings

I wish I was there with you. I want to get my hands on a couple of those M-109 Paladins for myself.

Here Up north that device could also be used to dust off the ankles of moose that wander onto the road. ;")
Could one of the glu troopers please remind me when the 3-of-a-kind build is due and where to send the photos?
First!
