Merger method may
Statutory reserve and All reserve is brought in transferee company at book value ( shown in entry no 2 )
The b/s of transferee co. With Reserve and surplus subheading n it contain only the bal. Of capital reserve which is drawn from the the 2nd entry of new company and it doesn't show the general reserves n p&l in the b/s but the amount of p&l n general reserves is also given .....how can be is this possible ?

Then in this video no need to record statutory reserve in 2 entry under purchase method?
