Love how their first accent instinct is to talk like the queen😂 and here’s me with my northern accent like.... hope u have a good time all !💕👍

When you say 75p most of the time in England we don’t say pence we pronounce it like 75 ‘P’ 💙
Olivia jane well we do it’s not wrong
Olivia jane we say penny too
@@natiamgaloblishvili9655 well 75 penny doesnt make sense.
@Rafferty Bridges 😂😂
@Rafferty Bridges ikr like who also says 75 penny 😂😂👌👌
when Jill was talking about having to look the other way when crossing the street I was confused, shouldn't you look both ways anyway before crossing the street?
Hannah Campbell hahahahaha yes lol
Gretchen Murray yes but you should still always check both ways before crossing. In America you should check left right left before crossing, but in the U.K. we would check right left right. You should always check both ways and then check again in the direction that cars are coming towards you before stepping into a road
Gretchen Murray 😂😂😂😂
@Gretchen Murray: Always best to look both ways even in a one-way street. There are some cyclists (and some motor-vehicle drivers) who believe the rules of the road do not apply to them.
@Gretchen Murray: No good mentioning it as an after-thought...might be too late by then for some poor soul.
If you want to be really British, you go to a chippy and eat the fish and chips out of a newspaper. 😂😂
@@ashlyr4385 I know I was joking, I AM British.
What I’m American
best version of fish and chips out of a newspaper :)
don't only use chippys at beaches
No chippy sells fish and chips wrapped in newspaper. In fact even during the war no chippy served them wrapped in newspaper. They were wrapped in greaseproof paper and then wrapped in newspaper; newsprint was a good insulator and kept the contents hot until you got them home. I know because I was there.
It’s not offensive to bring your own ketchup but they might think your a bit mad 😂

Sainsbury’s own brand cookies are the best. Definitely a must have!
What about Marks & Spenser cookies 😍

The money is different sizes so visually impaired people can use it easily
And I think every country in the world except the US has different denominations in different sizes. If they have apparently been to Paris and Barcelona, well Euro notes certainly are different sizes!

You guys should defooo try Nando’s, it’s a must when your in the uk

Yass defo go nandos they do the best chicken!!
Who doesn’t love Nando’s
SAIT NANDOS ISNT IN AMERICA?!?!?!?!
Demi Downard I don’t 😂
Yesss gall I'm here for this small youtuber support
Basically everything in the UK has far less sugar than American foods, so our ketchup, bread, yogurt etc. is all slightly different even if it's the same brand! Also our money is different sizes so it's easy for people with visual impairments to distinguish! That includes the coins which are all different shapes and sizes, also we have our tax included in prices on the shelves in shops, which I'll never understand why American's don't!
We don't have a national VAT in the US, so sales taxes vary from state to state, from county to county, and even between adjoining cities.
Slated that just sounds so much more organized, I don’t know why we don’t do that (I’m American)
@@allenabel3471 I know which is what's so dumb! Like I get it being different from state to state I suppose, but that should be the limit! And even if it is different from city to city, that doesn't mean they should include tax on the shelf. In fact it just means they should do it more to avoid confusion!
less sugar i cant believe how much sugar and salt everything has in the uk.
the ketchup is the same
not everyone drinks tea
we call ‘pence’ like 55’P’ as it the letter.
TRY NANDOS

UA-camr Edits yessss we’re both from Scotland
What made me happy is work was slow and I had a good workout afterwards
Welcome to England!! I hope you love it here 💕
It was weird watching your route in from Heathrow to central London via the M4 then the A4 through Kensington past the Natural History Museum, then the V & A (Victoria & Albert Museum) up to the Mall, past Buckingham Palace (there are also other palaces like Kensington Palace where other Royals live). You could even take the train to Windsor to visit Windsor Castle which is only 5 or so miles west of Heathrow Airport. I was able to pick all those places you drove past. See you found a Sainsbury Local. Tesco Metro is another major supermarket chain. Both would be just the small inner city versions but you can get almost anything at either place. Tomato Ketchup on chips - yum. It’s fine to buy chips from a chippy and smother it with ketchup. They will sell sachets there if you want. Have a great time. PS Big Ben (which is actually the name of the bell not the tower which it’s real name is the Elizabeth Tower) is undergoing restoration as is the Houses of Parliament so very sorry you can’t see it well at the moment.

Great vid guys, alot of people even Brits born and bred confuse Tower Bridge (The draw bridge that features in every photo of London) as London Bridge. Tower Bridge and the Tower of London are smack bang next to each other. London Bridge is actually just your average bridge across the river based just beyond London Bridge rail station and Borough Market. It also sits in the shadow of The Shard (London's tallest skyscraper).

You did right to not nap. Time change goes better if you keep busy the whole day. I flew to London and went to Bath and we did sightseeing all day and I was able to crash at 9 PM which is 2 here in Denver and had no sleep issues the whole trip.
