    sounds crisp, great opportunity to play on a 50yr old bike...wow...what a gem!

      Yes I am lucky to have ridden such a cool bike! I had a 1974 CZ250 many years ago - fun to ride one again!

      Thank you Hondaman331! Let's hope you and I are still riding dirt bikes at 80 years old like Henry!

      Henry Gref is a legend straight from Czechoslovakia! He has so much knowledge about the CZ bikes and is still a very fast rider at age 82 years young!

    I remember the CZ's always doing really well at the ISDT back in the day.

    • @mxengineer1
      @mxengineer1  2 роки тому +3

      Yes the early 70's CZ's dominated ISDT back in the day. I remember the fully enclosed chain drive.

      @@mxengineer1 yep I remember that enclosed chain as well!

    That’s awesome. Remember you and Eric with the up on the hill. It does need a rubber mud flap on the front fender to be more authentic.

      Lots of fun riding up on the hill and around the wood yards!

    was that the front end coming up while you were running it through the gears?

    • @mxengineer1
      @mxengineer1  2 роки тому +4

      Yes it was! Henry has this bike well set up and the engine runs strong and easily pulls the front end up rolling through the gears. Crazy to think this bike is basically a 1972 model...50 years old! Wonder is my fuel injected, electric start, 2023 KTM 300XC will be running strong in 2073?;)

      Vintage mx bikes really give some perspective on how far moto bikes have evolved. This CZ is like a new Factory Edition with all the cool modifications and updates.
