Takes me back 50 years. My Dad and I were members of the Broken Arrow, Okla. Motocross club. Had our own track, held an Inter Am there in 1970 I believe. All the famous Europeans were there. Bengt Aberg, Ake Johnson and Torsten Hallman. They rode that track like I had never seen befor. Maico, CZ and Husqvarna ruled. Pentons were the elite of the 125 class. Sure miss those days.
i was riding CZ in 71 i was 19 years old would like to see 'modern' riders go at it on natural track with 6" front fork travel and 3" rear shock travel, no electronics
The good ole days Safe and fun with smells that only a true moto head can unferstand Got the Bultaco 👍 logo tattooed on my head and Hangtown on my arm Dirt Digger North for life
Yes, I saw it too. I’m not a CZ expert but I think it was a 400cc. A brute of a motorcycle with a four speed transmission. My friend still has one and it still runs.
The place is certainly named after the town--see the name above MC Club du Brienon.. North Central France...Didya see all the French cars in the scenes in the pits or paddock? Here fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brienon-sur-Arman%C3%A7on#R%C3%A9volution_fran%C3%A7aise I passed nearby in the later 70s when I was doing moto-cross all over France..
Even back in 1971 the competition was so good with the square barrel maico,s so unique to the sport love them and the jawa,s and other models like the red suzuki tm,s and other brands
