Yea, I think her eyes are really pretty! I’m not sure why, I think her eyeliner/general eye outline is thicker and maybe her eye shape is rounder? But anyway I think they’re all really pretty, especially sweetie belle. Scoot’s hair is cute too!
Just seeing the CMC grown up is basically mirroring their voice actors (who have been there since the very beginning). So we're basically hearing how they would sound like as grown ups.
This was basically a filler episode anyway, since people in the fandom had been wondering for years what the CMC's would look like grown up, but even so it was still a good thing to see.
The teleport was obviously a huge strain for her given her horn was sparking afterwards and it obviously hurt her with her grimace and hooves to her head. That short walk from hayseed junction only supports my statement Equestria is a candy coated death world once you look past the pretty pastel ponies.
@@Godzilla5675 A teleport spell involves carefully shifting a bunch of matter that really CANNOT be re-organised or reconstructed with all sorts of checks to avoid teleporting into objects, presumably pushing the air out the way and a lot more. For a beginner it could definitely be complex
I think it's cool that Scootaloo has a wing disability, it really makes her unique and more interesting from the other pegasus. Also did you notice their voices got a little deeper? And how are you not talking about how pretty Sweetie Belle is??! Let alone all three of them! They all look so different and grown up! I love it! 💕
@@Icy-be5vl Now that is just mean. You may not value Scootaloo for being born different, but I do! Whether she can fly or not, she's a pegasus. And she's a different pegasus, that's not boring. And you're calling earth ponies boring? I apologize for being offended once again! Is Pinkie Pie boring?
@@commenter4368 Pinkie Pie is special, of course she isn't boring. She is my favorite Mane 6 but this is Pinkie. She might be even not a pony with her super powers. Scootalo on the other hand would be better if she could fly.
Sweetie belle joins the list of unicorns that can teleport, Twilight,Sunset,Starlight and now Sweetie Belle makes sense she has been studding magic with Twilight since season 4.
Even though this was just a filler CMC episode, it was still good to finally see what they would look like as adults, although the lesson of the episode is kinda cliche.
Cliche, yes, but I have rarely seen it done well. Most cartoons that do this have the lesson as "Don't be in a hurry to grow up because it's only going to get worse as an adult." This episode has the moral as, "Growing up isn't the same as being grown up." There are advantages to being a child, and advantages to being an adult, both of which are shown here. The CMC don't get into trouble simply because they are adults, like most cartoons do. Instead, the trouble they get into is a result of them doing what they think adults would do. It may seem insignificant, but it's crucial for the moral.
@@zacharygilmore1075 That is the lesson i was referring too, but not only is being an adult worse than being a kid, but the CMC's should've also learned to enjoy their childhood while they had it, because after all you're only a kid once.
@@TheCommenterDragon They did learn that. They admitted at the end that they weren’t ready to be adults, but they didn’t say that they would rather be kids forever. Being an adult isn’t worse than being a kid, and vice versa. There are a lot more responsibilities with the former than the latter, but also a lot more freedoms. Check out the reviewer “Mr. Enter” and his video about the episode “Anywhere But Here.”
Yes, but in the episode they just went to Scootaloo's aunts' house. I think Scootaloo has driven this way many times and everything was explained to her.
I like this episode, and the moral (which I rarely ever see done well in cartoons). The moral here is "Being a grown up is not the same as being grown up." I feel like this should have been much earlier in the show, since the CMC went to Mount Eris in season 8, but by itself, this episode is pretty enjoyable, especially the song.
🎵Tale as old as time...🎵 Seeing both Chef Ramsay and a Dorothy Pony in the same shot was pretty uncanny and hilarious at the same time since we now have a Tasmanian Devil spinning out of control.
For those of you who say the plot of this episode would be better suited for the early seasons, reminder back in the single and double digit episodes the CMCs didn't have their cutie marks so if they used the wish granting flower back in one of those the first give away sign to a dishonest shortcut would be them being their sisters' ages and still being blank flanks as Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon called them so often.
Just because the Cutie Mark Crusaders are grown-ups that doesn't mean that they can do everything that they want to do they should know that the one thing that adults should have is responsibility
Applegeek forgets For Whom The Sweetie Belle Toils where the CMC rode a train to Canterlot without anybody whateverso helping them. That one scene explodes this entire ep to bits. X3 The CMC are capable are traveling alone, what is it with shows forgetting key details like this just for the sake of the current Ep? I will agree the CMC kept making mistakes because, they were too focused on proving the Mane6 wrong, plus finally being older, clouded their better judgements. After all they sung that song about doing whatever they wanted, which could had made the same mistake the Mane6 did in All Bottled up. Overall a fun Ep! Just wished we could see these new characters again and their pet. Hm, maybe the season 10 comics? As for Scootaloo's wings.....had to confirm that didn't that? Wow they are leaving no stone unturned for us to talk about years to come are they? Also. WHERE.WAS.PINKIE PIE?
Scootaloo: What could go wrong? Applegeek: NEVER! SAY THAT!!!! NEVER EVER SAY THAT!!!!! Me: At least she didn't say, "What's the worse thing that could happen?".
The part where they were bigger than their sisters symbolizes that they don't need to listen to them anymore, and, if needed, they can tell them what to do now.
Yeah. On top of Pinkie Pie being the least busy of the mane six, since unlike them she’s not preparing to rule all of Equestria (that goes to Twilight), a member of the Wonderbolts (that goes to Rainbow Dash), in charge of an animal sanctuary or a fashion empire (those go to Fluttershy and Rarity) or occupied with farm duties (that goes to Applejack) she’d be up for taking the CMCs to a funfair any day.
Big mac looks as sick as I am currently (at first me and parents thought covid my dad came back whit covid one day and didn't notice till my mom choght it but I think I have something different from pucking up a river last night)
What about Starlight? Exactly good question, I feel like in most time in season 9 she doesn't exist and this is one of the worst things in this season, some episodes were also not good.
The same thing happened all the time in season 6. Most of the time, Starlight didn't exist. She only did if the episode needed her for the plot, like if she was the focus of the episode. But many episodes made it seem like there was no Starlight.
How old are the CMCs by now? Shouldn't they at least be teenagers, like at least 15? When you factor in how much time has passed since the start of the show I mean.
I know I’m not AppleGeek, but I don’t think so. Dashie and Scoos aren’t related in any way. 1. They have different parents in different episodes. 2. They both may be pegasi, but they don’t have any similar traits. Scoos is orange with purple hair who can’t fly even as an adult, and Dashie is blue with rainbow hair.
Old comments of mine regarding the episode: I've gotten the impression from this (and the epilogue episode) that they kinda played it safe with the Scootacripple issue, left it to the wind and to us as to whether Scootaloo is able to fly as a grown pony (small wings or no), not showing or mentioning it at all*. . . kinda disappointed about the missed opportunities (on this and other things), but I think I see why they bunted here. So many strong opinions on both sides of the issue. . .
