- Here is the race start with myself behind the wheel in the #550 C1 from Cor Euser racing. Our Qualification was weak so I had to start from P39 from the C1's. Within a few laps we were 4th from the C1's however due to some unlucky incidents in the race (see video) we lost about a lap :( Enjoy the Race!

It had to do with our radio system!

I tried to find the driver who hit me, but never figured out who it was. One year I met the guy and he apologised. He found the video on UA-cam 😅
How were you able to do it? Just small cars with so much grip mid corner that you just kept sending it? When other people thought that they were on the limit of grip?

Je maakt paar zeer riskante manoevers die ik volledig begrijp als sprint racer. Rij je niet zo in een sprint, kom je er niet doorheen. In een veld waar het merendeel echte amateurs zijn, kan dit fout aflopen omdat ze z'n gedrag niet gewoon zijn en je voor zot verklaren. :-p Je kent wel mooi de lengte van je wagen en hebt veel vertrouwen dat iedereen weet wat hij doet, hahaha.
Bij elke inhaal actie probeerde ik te voorspellen wat je zou doen en ik zat er 9/10 boenk op maar soms dacht ik, ai, hij sluit zich in maar je gaat dan echt buitenom of in het gras en daar doe ik gedeeltelijk mijn pet voor af. Half wel voor de ballen die je hebt, half niet omdat het zeer riskant is en het feest kan verpesten voor velen die er niets mee te maken hebben.
Het blijft impressionant.
Inhalen onder geel had ik nou niet verwacht van jou en die tik op het einde, deuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu, dit duidt erop dat er toch echt zware amateuristische rijders tussen zitten die niet verder kijken dan hun motorkap of geen besef hebben wat ze doen.
He Steve, zie je bericht nu pas. Thx, met inhalen onder geel bedoel je kemmel straight in de slipstream van de witte C1 voor mij? Grappig dat je die tik onder safety car ziet als amateuristische rijder. Was nou net 1 van de weinige "pro's" in het veld die de safety car flag vanaf uit komen chicane niet zag...
@@DaanArrow als 'pro' rijder verwacht ik toch dat je vlaggen ten alle tijden ziet. Iemand voorbij gaan of iemand aanrijden lijkt me toch niet helemaal hetzelfde.
Hopelijk komen we elkaar eens tegen in een C1 wedstrijd. 😉

Waarom startte je op 39?
Er waren 6 auto’s afgeschreven in de Quali en gezien dat iedereen in het team een vliegende ronde moest zetten hebben wij het daar aan gehouden en geen risico genomen. Het doel was om te wedstrijd te starten en te finishen en dat is gelukt!
Knap hoor.... Vooral dat veelvuldig inhalen onder geel......

Domi Beaujean pour votre information, les règles de limite de piste de cet événement permettaient de rouler en dehors des lignes blanches
