  • When anodizing hundreds of small parts, squeezing the clips together to get the parts on and off the rack is painful after a while. I made this tool to help squeeze the clips more easily.
Also, I am switching video editing software and the color grading tools are better in the new software, so the colors look different. I want my videos to look consistent but I also want to improve. Let me know if you notice or if you like the new look more or less. I will probably be tweaking things more but I think this is an improvement over my old ways. I have several videos in the works still in my old software so the colors my be inconsistent for a little while. Thanks for being patient...I doubt you care...
    Thanks for watching!

I always get excited when you upload videos. No matter the project it is fun to watch all of the things you make and do. Have a great week Russell! :)

👍😎👍 clever. It’s always so exciting when you use a tool you created, especially when it dramatically improves an annoying process. How did you decide on the length?

One of our small parts racks is similar to what was shown at the end of this video except it’s a tree of clips, so the parts are 90 degrees apart instead of just 180. In that scenario it needed to be long enough to get to the clip and have the handle clear the neighboring part.

Thats a nice built, but way more interesting, for me at least, are the part holders you use the clip clincher on. I couldn't find any information about it on your channel, so maybe you could make short video about that?
I have a product where the anodizer says i need (threaded) holes to hold them but I think there is a better way to do it by having the part held by a vice grip like contraption. Any tips on building part holding hardware for anodizing is much appreciated!
