I've wanted one for a couple years now, want to import to the U.S. but I have no clue how much $$$$ to be able to meet inspections/emissions standards here. If shipping container costs go back down (up 3x recently) it might still be doable. Would stand out and be a unique car to have while fitting in perfectly here in Soviet Ameerica.
Creó qué en Canadá hay varios, por lo parecido del clima y topografía ,allí se hizo relativamente común,la pregunta es si los dueños quieran venderlos, otra alternativa es encontrarlos en Ecuador, allí los ensamblaron
thats why i bought 1999 Lada Samara 1500S 21099 becouse i grew with lada gonna drive it for atleast 4 years once i gather money ill buy a new Lada Niva 2121 4x4 atleast 2015 version
Not the best in terms of offroad capability (no axle locker + IFS) Not the best in terms of performance and fuel eco Not the best reliability wise But so damn easily fixed, simple and cheap
The Lada Niva went into production in 1977 that's forty seven years ago now ,since then the safety and emissions laws have changed a lot but the lada niva is still the same meaning it would have a hard time selling in some markets now .The market the Lada niva once filled outside of Russia is now filled by the Suzuki Jimny the Lada niva is a vehicle out of date and from a bygone era no doubt the Chinese car industry will bring out a similar vehicle to the Suzuki Jimmy thereby likely under cutting the Suzuki Jimmy in price and as for Lada niva time Lada bring out a new more up to date version of the Lada niva start by replacing the outdated Fiat engine.
@@christophera556 They have tried time and again to make a successor car (Chevy Niva, now Niva Travel) but it can't beat the bang for the buck of the old reliable and is savaged by imported used SUVs on the other side. They are also now apparently putting 1.8l 122hp in their Nivas.
