So you get the car plus an entry and support for the racing series for £100k? That actually sounds like an amazing value compared to other racing series!

A lot of people don’t follow the manufacturer’s service guidelines, the amount of people that come in for the first service and the service advisor points out that the vehicle is two years old and should be having a second service not the first, “but I’ve only done 12,000 miles”. I have worked for a number of brands and main dealers, and warranty work is done every day. Most dealer networks send back warranty claims before the end of each month but not JLR, no there is so much of it, it goes back daily! TATA have invested heavily in JLR and the products are way better than they used to be but, when you pay that sort of money you would expect a more reliable vehicle. The brand with the least amount of warranty was Toyota/Lexus where claims would fit in a single roller container each month and occasionally add a double roller container because of a larger part like an exhaust or trim work but that was it.
You keep hearing from the 4x4 people on UA-cam that the new Defender isn't a Defender. And then every time they pitch the new one against old it triumphs. This Bowler is amazing. I'd love to take it on an Australian adventure, blasting past those modified Utes and pitching up in a 5* hotel every night. Well, one does have standards! ;-)
If could afford a new Defender, I would get one. Go for the jump seat in the front, plenty of space for everything, camping, biking, and great for the winter sports
For some reason I associate Bowler shapes with a swooping coupe-like rear end on top of being aggressively short wheelbase. I mean if you look at the Wildcat and Nemesis it has a sloping rear roof and it kind of what it cool, knowing this isn't designed for cargo utility. It'd be cool of they emulate that sloping rear roof on this Defender as well.
The Bowler Kensington & Chelsea, because anything less can’t cope with that school run 🤦🏻♂️😂 Epic defender 😁👍, definitely worthy of a blast around the Diddly Squat farm racing track
looks great, much better than the skinny tyre V8 blingified versions popular with custom builders, I hope this inspires production versions as the styling tends toward the less purposeful aforementioned US street custom look. wonder what they did with the suspension to get so much travel and rubber on the wheels.
Why not just have the full circle shifter that the Peugeot WRC team used in the 206. doesn't matter where you hand is on the wheel, you can always pull to up and push to down 🤷♂️

wondering what’s the coilover system it used.
The only question is, why the 4cyl?
I'd guess that is part of the keeping the price as low as possible as Henry pointed out.
Cheaper, lighter, better weight distribution.
Because it's light weight and still kicks the near 300hp that is "enough" for this purpose
