    Be careful. In Nebraska, if a car has been “junked” ie sent to the junk yard, the title will be branded “Junk” and there is no way to unjunk it. Run the VIN in the DMV database to make sure before you spend money on this.

      @@Zestypanda Junkyard was someone's personal lot. It wasn't an actual junk yard. Just aged over time. Do appreciate the insight 🙏

      Hi, I live in Quebec-Canada, if a vehicle has been scrapped by its owner, it can be bought back and rebuilt and refurbished for the road, but it will have to pass the mechanical inspection and if everything is okay, the garage that inspected the vehicle will issue a new registration for the vehicle. This applies to all vehicles, with the exception of a total loss vehicle (a serious accident that cannot be salvaged). But these days in Quebec and Canada, it's pretty rare to get a vehicle from a junk yard back on the road, with the exception of an antique vehicle.
