I was confused untill you explained that the lever is not accessible if the window treatment is on! Select Blinds shipped mine on the headrail already. So thanks! Easy Peasy!
@@franceshensley4684 so how did you install the no tools headrail without removing the blind from the headrail? I am so disappointed at the lack of instructions and help. The fourteen second video does not have the roman shade attached. You need to get to the lever. Sorry for all the questions.
@ Sharon Doyle. Sorry...I did remove the blinds. (It's been awhile). If you lift the valance flap you should see a wing nut in each side if the blinds, unscrew those and the blinds will slide off. I was very frustrated when I got them too, I know how you feel!
Hi there Sharon, Yes. You will need to remove the shade/blind before the No tool headrail can be installed. Then you just install the shade onto the no tool headrail again.
Hi there - when I installed my Roman shade using the no tools headrail, I see the white of the headrail. I’m ready to cry because I have very large windows and these were not cheap window coverings. Is it normal to see the white of the headrail?
Hey Jessica, For the few I have seen, Yes. If you got it from a company that offers fabric by the yard or loose fabric, you could probably buy a piece of matching fabric and tuck it under and over the no tool headrail. I have yet to see a floating header on the market that matches any specific product.
I cannot find it on either site.
Thanks... I got like zero explanation from the one I got from the store. Makes sense!
Glad to help!

How did you remove the blind from the headrail? Select Blinds gave me no instructions.
@Sharon Doyle , I didn't I just pulled them all the way up so they weren't hanging much.

How do I remove the blinds from the rail to install it? Select Blinds gave me no instructions what so ever.

(Depending on which product you choose/which company it came from, uninstalling can be different)
can this be used halfway up a window, so it wouldn't be flush against the header on the top of the window?
Hi! So I installed the no tool head rail but need to move it to another window. How do you go about releasing the lever to remove?
