Love this video... You are so precious... tell it like it is... sister... Thank you for sharing this video. Question... Is the Popcorn Balls Real Hard to Eat? Are they always Sticky... or do they dry?
Surprisingly, we still have 10 in the box. Once I make stuff it usually takes a while to go. I usually end up sharing with church or friends with kids. Not the case with the lemon pie which was gone in a day. LOL!
Gosh, I remember as a kid getting these when trick or treating. Now days, if you gifted these to kids... Unless it was to a family you know, they'll toss it out. For fear of you harming the children. Sad that our world has come to this state. I love these, loved them as a child too! I *love* these Noreen, I'm judging away that these are Delish! Funky bag marshmallows & all! Hehe! They're gorgeous Noreen. Great Job with the popcorn balls. 🌾Merry meet 🌿
These are great looking hun. Same recipe I use pretty much. I mix mine up and use less sugar. The are great with peanuts or peanut butter added. Or Nutella and chocolate chips. Even dehydrated banana chips. Julia
No, you cannot. Won't work in this case because this caramel has not been cooked to 300 degrees or the "hard crack" stage. The only way you can do the baking step is if you actually use a candy thermometer and cook it to the right temperature. This caramel is made with marshmallows, which contain gelatin, which will not ever get crunchy. It will remain soft and gooey. But you can still just enjoy the popcorn balls during The Walking Dead. I usually don't eat during that show because of obvious reasons.
Hahahahaaaa my marshmallows are sticky, don't judge me. You're so cute! BTW marshmallows do that in humidity, nothing wrong with them lol. TY for sharing, I'm going to use roasted coconut and chopped pecans too. TY!
We make a popcorn ball but instead of caramel which is my favorite, we add flavored jello, any flavor to the marshmallows. We call it skittle corn because they taste a little like skittles candies. Kids love them.

I'm trying this Monday ! 👍🏼Thanks for sharing ! When do you add the sprinkles ? Once you form the balls?
I went over that in the video. I rolled them in the sprinkles and kind of pressed them in once the balls are formed and still sticky.

Yes, I know about the humidity all too well. Love the idea of coconut and pecans!
That's happened to me all the time no worries
Yes, peanuts!
Can i use Carmel chocolate melts? Mix that in with the marshmallow.
No that won’t work the same way
Can you make this with popcorn that is allready have Carmel on them like the ones you buy in Christmas canisters
No
