Just looking for some clarification, since restrictive cardiomyopathy is a diastolic dysfunction doesn't that mean the EF is preserved rather than reduced? Seeking clarification :)?

from what I am learning, EF is generally preserved with restrictive CMP until the heart starts to fail (severity increases) and then the EF decreases.
