Fabulous to see the well-dressed crowd on the Green and familiar landmarks that are still with us. I wish the impressive old city hall had been saved. The number of soldiers and sailors the town provided for the war effort is something to be proud of. Kudos to the Historical Society and everyone involved in preserving, restoring, and sharing this film!

This is a brillant salvation of a Connecticut treasure. Absolutely masterful forensic and thematic editing with meticulous care by Bruce Manke. And a real showcase for Holy Grail themesong writer Jack Trombey & his spot-on compositions from the DeWolfe library. BRAVO, Video Imagination!

One hundred years later and many of the buildings look exactly the same. Truly mind-blowing. I wonder what they'll look like in another hundred years.

Great coverage. Amazing Naugatuck still has the familiar spots very recognizable.

100 years. The publicly available video history narrows to almost nothing. Thanks for posting :)

this city, besides being very beautiful, seems to be full of stories. It would be interesting for those who live there to reveal many things that happened in the past of these beautiful cities. hugs

The Town Hall looked so much nicer! Now it’s just a big, grey building.
