I love how Thirteen lives up to everything that Twelve told her to do in his regeneration monologue. Much love for Jodie and Mandip and Tosin and Brad and John
@@gay4sswhovian Yeah but Jodie explicitly has some moments like putting the master in a concentration camp, supporting the DW amazon equivalent to the point of saying the system isn't wrong and not comforting graham about his cancer.
You are correct as the thirteenth doctor tries her best to be as cheerful and kind as possible but all of her inner darkness keeps showing itself for example her feelings of solitude and loneliness were on full display at the beginning of the video the thirteenth doctor looked like she was about to break down crying when she was about to part with Yaz Graham and Ryan.
@@user-ui3bb5th7k I don't think it's in this video but what about when she drops them off and is like what to do, "oh I'll pop to tomorrow and just pick them up." Like put her loneliness on full display. Which I think is one of the reasons she has so many companions, to show that juxtaposition between when she's with them, and when she is alone. And at times even when she is with them she is alone, which is a symptom of depression. But then you have all these people that say, "she has no emotion"

The Doctor doesn't need to be angry or mad to show their dark side. People forget even sadness and loneliness is part of the "dark side" of people. Jodie's rage in The Haunting of Villa Diodati, her face offs against the Dalek in Resolution and her anger in Flux as well as her underlayed sadness and loneliness already proved she is the Doc along with the many others.

I'm not a massive fan of the Chibnall era but this was still really funny. I think Jodie is great doctor, she just needs better writing (which we kind of got in series 12)
Let's not kid ourselves; Doctor Who's writing has never been Shakespeare-worthy or anything. Part of what makes a good Doctor is your ability to make that corny dialogue work. David Tennant had that in spades, and so does Jodie.
@@mtty4625 Some people, like myself, have tried, but the issue is there really hasn't been much in the way of story arcs across multiple episodes. Jodie made the chibnall era better purely because of how good she was as the doctor. Also Ryan was the first person on tele or in general media to have dyspraxia ( as in someone on tele shown and have dyspraxia be defined in media instead of being ‘clumsy’ ) and that lives in a special place in my heart cause I felt seen, it’s a learning disability not many people know about or even bother to show in media and seeing a character like that made me happy. The fact they didn’t make him the typical “clumsy” person ( which is how dyspraxia is seen ) made me happy, it didn’t define him, he was just a kid who struggled with normal things, like riding a bike and it wasn’t touched on much, but the fact that they said he had it was enough, because there are so many characters in the media that you could say have it, but they’re mostly just ‘clumsy’ and it’s seen as a negative thing. So yeah the chibnall era wasn’t great but Jodie as 13 and Tosin, mandip and Bradley were good companions for the doctor and made it worth the watch.
Also I don't know why everyone treats her like she's satan for not saying something comforting when Graham told her about his cancer. Not everyone knows what to say with that kind of thing! Like i'm terrible with words, so that's why it's relatable to me. The way people treat her you'd think she said "F you and F your cancer!" or something. Sure maybe she could have handled the situation better, but she obviously felt terrible about not being able to say something reassuring "maybe i'll think of something i should have said".

Never seen Dr.Who but im learning a lot. Nobody actual hates this doctor. Just the writer. Infact id even say people are upset because of how much greater she could have been.
Personally, after her debut episodes, I find the 13th Doc's series kinda meh. It's no way the fault of the actress. I love her performance. She got the energy and emotion down. Jodie is nominated for various movie and TV awards for a reason. Some of my favorite moments are from her (and the Master's) performances. I mostly blame those behind the scenes. And I get that a lot of people hate the Timeless Child stuff but if long running franchises have taught me anything, they're just going to retcon it again sometime in the future. That's my Doctor
love the mii channel music!!!
The part where doc said something about a fact, I literally choked on 'my friend'
its sad when individual moments are better than the writing of the whole 13th doctor series'
Jodie saying she’s a romantic tho 💛🤌😝
4:29 - Master just nods like, "fair enough".
Fun fact: The Witchfinders episode where the village is, that's filmed at the 17th Century Village in the UK, literally 30 seconds walk from my house. That was a surreal day
lol that last one XD Well done
The last scene of timeless child reminded me of 10
The Graham scene is just sooooooo sad more than anything, because I can relate to not knowing what to say
love the vid, thnx for making it. the title is great btw. also, love the hello sweetie. :)
Never seen Dr.Who but im learning a lot. Nobody actual hates this doctor. Just the writer. Infact id even say people are upset because of how much greater she could have been.
dOn’t kill the vibe GrAHaM
I am really feeling the connection betwrn 10 and 13 . Such a pair!
Same along with 11
0:20 *tuesday being a mood*
If I were to summarize Thirteen, I'd point to when she says she's trying to be friendly but is socially awkward.
Can u do one with The Master? He really been my mood 24/7
I like her as the docter she is my second favorite but david tennant just had the best writing
What weight of plane though. That's going to make a difference. Also love this!!!
I love her, and I don't get why others don't.
Horrendous writing
AAAAHHHHH I can't stop watching this, its so good!😍😍😭😍❤

Was not expecting the COVID-19 caption, omg 😂
4:33 is a definite mood
The fact that Jodie and me just have a lot in common😂 we should be friends!
Might as well see how much are they going to do with this.
