I tried so many videos and websites before throwing away my printer. I had given up until I came across this video and it fixed the error code canon tr8520 error code 6004. Even canon couldn’t help with it and asked me to send for service. Best helpful video ever. Great work!
Thank you! I could not figure out how to locate the paper jam in the rear of the printer, but you showed how that back part was to removed (after 2:20 on the video). I greatly appreciate your help!
Thanks! I have a BRAND NEW, NEVER USED Canon with the 1300 jam code before I ever put paper in it. I found the culprit thanks to this video. It's as if Canon intentionally left SEVERAL sheets of paper inside the printer.
I've taken my TR8520 apart and put back together at least 4 times now searching every crevice for anything and it still is saying there's a paper jam somewhere... any ideas?
Great video! I was getting an error code, went on the Cannon site, and looked up the solution in the online manual. The printer printed, but it appeared that the black ink cartridge needed to be replaced, which I did. Now, it's telling me that I have a paper jam. I followed your very clear instructions to remove the jam & there IS NO jam! I cleaned the rollers, as you instructed. I feel like I've tried everything! Any ideas? (I've had lots of issues with this printer, but I've always been able to muddle my way through every fix but this! I'd just buy another, but I have $100 worth of ink still!) =(
Canon TR7520 support code 1300. I am not able to clear this “jam” that has started out of the blue, i.e. no actual paper jam. I’ve checked and cleared everything in this video (very helpful), and thoroughly cleaned all of the rollers with alcohol swabs. The printer starts to pick up the paper just fine. Transports it around the duplex unit, then it stops and signals a jam. Your other video disassembling the printer is great too. I have not gone that far yet. Is there more on the underside worth taking apart to see if there is something stuck in the paper path? A spider or a bug maybe? You seem to have the most comprehension and experience on these printers, from all of the videos I have reviewed. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Hi. Thank you for your kind feedback. The printer seems to be detecting a mispick or jam somewhere, so there is something off somewhere. Unfortunately. Make sure all parts are snapped in place, and use flashlight to see if there is a foreign object inside somewhere.
Hello, I currently do not have a video on that, but will try to make one soon. In the meantime, make sure the wire connection on the printer main board and on the screen are intact. You will need to remove the side panel to access that.

Thank you! I could not locate my jam, until I picked the printer up and pulled the main tray off. There it was! 👍🏼👍🏼
I just want to say thank you! I found a foreign object lodged into the back of the printer, which caused the false paper jam.
You're welcome! I'm glad you got it resolved. Have a great day!

Hmm.... if you pull out the cartridge that you installed, does the error go away?
@@303electronics No, it didn't.
Did you ever find a solution? I am forever battling with this printer as well 😩

Thanks. I’ll see what I can figure out.
Great video. Showed me how to get into all problem places.....however mine is still NOT taking paper from the back feed. thanks
Are the rollers trying to spin? Also, make sure your paper tray settings are correct.
This was so helpful thank you so much
You're welcome! I'm happy you found it helpful! Thanks for the feedback. Have a great day!
Thank You. This is very helpful.
Hoping you have a fix for an unresponsive touchscreen. It lights up, powers on but nothing when I tap.

My cassette isn't printing only the rear. Idk what's happening. But I did everything
Check settings on computer and printer to make sure the proper tray is selected
