Ardie Savea commented that he is a man of faith. That's great. Natural skills, humble spirit combined with great physique and Divine help make him unstoppable!! Amazing lad.
Great interview. I love how Caleb can be himself. Props to the other ABs for supporting him in their environment too! They must have a few laughs & banter. Love the ABs!
Hows that?..... God willing a young talented player Caleb Clarke with a promising future to be great, surrounded and interviewed by Legend themselves Jeff Wilson, Mils Muliaina, Sir John Kirwin Love my New Zealand, Go All Blacks
I just love the NZ mentality. That question from John Kirwan exemplifies their attitude - despite all the success Caleb Clarke is achieving his question was "what are you working on to improve". The Kiwi mindset is the top mindset in any discipline globally whether it's sport, business, whatever. It is so focused on becoming better - a better human being, a better player, a better role model etc. They have no time for grandstanding - it's all about humility and the drive to be better than yesterday. I used to think NZ's greatest export was the All Blacks but it isn't - it's the way the country thinks.
Seems like an awesome talent and a decent young man; a credit to his parents. As to his development and given the comparisons with Lomu, I've always wondered whether, in trying to accentuate Lomu's natural physical dominance, the AB trainers bulked him up too much and hindered his mobility, especially when it came to defence. Most of the time he was woeful in defence and if anyone got past him he was no hope of catching them. He was amazing, and yeah, he had huge health problems, but it did seem like he lost aspects of his game from when he was younger. Hopefully Clarke doesn't suffer the same fate.
This kid could be the next big thing in rugby since the late great Jonah Lomu. He's the complete package, speed, size, power and he's still developing as a player. Looking forward to more great things from him. The futures of the All Blacks, the Blues and the Auckland Mitre 10 Cup teams look good.
@IslandMahn I'm not dissing Americans, I'm dissing the NBA, they deserve everything they're going through right now the fake, hypocritical scum. So proud of my American cuzzies for not putting up with their sh*t and boycotting them. Wake up bro!!!.
Caleb Clarke seems like the most relaxed All black going. Obviously he has had an amazing start which is very rare for a boy at his age, but I really think it takes talent for a man to shine for the All Blacks indefinitely. You could look at a player like Julian Savea for example, he showed very early promise but didn't end up being the best winger in the code. If Caleb can work on consistency he can mould into the perfect All Black. I wish him well.
I thought prime Julian Savea was the undoubtedly the best in the code. He's the last All black number 11 to be the best in a world cup at the position. I don't know what happened to Ioane who looked like he was going to be unstoppable. The 11 and 14 in the last world cup were good but for a change not far better than anyone in their respective positions.
His biggest asset is he has enterprise, determination and uses initiative. Funnily enough his dad wasn't the same, but could turn a game in two or three injections.
We have seen this before young talent pushed by expectations , the pressure of expectation ends up destroying them....alcohol is usely there first resting place... then its all over.

Carved us up. Even better he’s so humble. Respect from Aus.
Not the first time a NZ winger of Polynesian descent has carved up the Aussies. And it definitely won't be the last.
