Totally! Wish the clouds had been a bit higher up, but it was still a great intro for Paul to the trails, the mud, the views, and the everything of the Adirondacks.
Nice! Great to see you completely recovered from your injury. Seeing you have a place in the Great North Woods, are you going to try for the eclipse next week? We saw the 2017 one in Tennessee, it was my 60th birthday. You should go!
Moe’s still working on building back the stamina, but overall he’s gotten the okay from the surgeon to go back to normal so we’re really excited! Our plan is to be at the house in NH for the eclipse. If the weather is good we might consider climbing a small mountain with a good open area to get a better view. Not totally sure. We’re racing up Sunday evening so it’ll al be rushed lol.
Mt Jo is the best bang for the buck in the region, especially if you are not in shape but I would NEVER climb it on a day where its tremendous views of the high peaks are hidden by clouds.
Been there in both clear and clouds, but when you’ve only got one day to show someone the Adirondacks, you work with what you’ve got and make the best of it.
That was a nice little jaunt. 😊
