I make a New York cheesecake and a key lime cheesecake that comes out very well. They are tricky to get just right and not over bake. This souffle style cheesecake looks even more difficult, I may give it a go someday but I don't expect to succeed on the first attempt.
My friends ask me to buy the cheesecake whenever I go back to my hometown Osaka! There are always long lines in front of the shops. I didn't know why they don't open their branches in Tokyo but now I figured it out..next time I go back to my hometown, I should get bunch of them😆💕
Not sure if anyone notices this but it seems like Shizzy's intuition is spot on today! Her dress not only matches the cup but also the overall theme of the cafe, from the ambiance to the staffs, from the where she sits to pictures on the wall. So I guess it isn't too much to say she definitely deserves the royal service when she receives the cheesecake! There is actually one more way to enjoy Uncle Rikuro's cheesecake which is to steam it although I will prefer the first two methods so that it doesn't "cook" the cheesecake any further.
Love cheesecake, it's such a comfort food. Often make cheesecakes, and I even made a Japanese cheesecake once, although it wasn't as fluffy as that. The texture was like eating clouds...That shop is definitely on the "to do list' when travel is allowed again. That peach sweet in the cafe also looked appetising...
The video brings back memory of the Uncle Rikuro's cheesecake, it is indeed the best soufflé cheesecake I ever had. I definitely wanted to head back to Osaka and have it again.
I really have to try this cheesecake next time I'm in Japan/Osaka. The cheesecakes here in the US especially Cheesecake Factory is like eating a dense 10 kg anchor
That is a mouthwatering chiffon cheese cake! Was it really a coincidence that you had that beautiful dress matched with the tea cup design lol. Anyway, you're beautiful Ms. Shizuka !
I am subscribed ;-) 5 days in Osaka and every time I walked past this shop to try it, the que was so long, had to skip it. There were some amazing vegetable samosas I found in Namba which I went back for as often as I could.
Oh that makes me hungry. The only place in New Zealand that you can get this type of cheesecake is in Auckland, but they are in lockdown. So it might be a while until I can get some.
Japan is the number one country in the world when it comes to egg consumption. An average of over three hundred twenty to three hundred thirty eggs are being consumed by an individual in Japan annually. Thus, be it local or imported, eggs in Japan are of very high quality to produce some of the best tasting egg dishes and desserts. It is therefore impossible to replicate Rikuro Ojisan's cheesecakes as you not only need the right equipments, right skills and knowledge(very important), but also some of highest quality eggs in the world which can only be found in Japan.
Love your video's ! Question: Would it be possible to invite Marty Friedman one day to join and let him show what his typical day of breakfast , lunch and dinner looks like? The reason why I'm asking is because I wonder if it's the Japanese food that keeps him look healthy at his age.
that Japanese Cheesecake looks like a JIGGLING and BOUNCING Baby Butt 👶 or a Fluffy & Soft "Sponge Cake" aka "Mamon" Originated in the Philippines, or Sans Rival, a Dessert 'Made in the Philippines' mixture of Meringue, Buttercream & Cashew Nuts. In Biblical Term "Mammon" is describe as influence of Material Wealth by those who are Rich, while in Spanish Word "Mammon" mean 'Boring' in English. But that Rikuro's Japanese Cheesecake in Osaka And the Mamon Spongecake in Manila, Philippines are So Yummy and Delicious, best paired with either hot Coffee, Tea, Choco or Soy Milk. #BeABlessing.🙏🍮😋
It is extremely rude to put subtitles when the person from the store is explaining in English. I don't know who makes those decisions, but such a lower level of empathy.
Where was the best cheesecake you have ever eaten?
The one I made in school senior year. Of course I forget my teachers name but it was fun.

Absolutely Love Plain Cheesecake. Left My Mouth Watering For This Cheesecake. PS Sure Hope I Can Get Milk With It.
Just THE fluffiest lightest cheesecake, we had 2 while in Osaka, only thing is though they are way too easy to eat, just like eating a cloud
We got a break from all the alcohol. 😂
Cheesecake!
Not for so long 😌
Great looking cheesecake so fluffy hopefully he can create a vegan one would love to try.
We have japanese cheesecake where I live but nothing as giggly as that!

Why on earth blur out the cake in the opening scene?.
I ❤ dorayaki, when I can find it! Here in Canada, we had yuzu cheesecake available last year. It was a Japanese style cheesecake. 😋
Wiggle it just a little bit!!!😊😍

You CANNOT NOT want to slap that.
Talking bout the cake, ya pervs.

It would be impossible to not have a good time with Shizuka.

So ... Uncle tetsu is a rip-off of this shop??🤔

Ok so skipping the raw chicken was definitely worth it 🍮
Shizuka Hot Bruh...
i love shizuka 😍
Get in line.
I can't hate on a beautiful half Japanese woman 🙂
It is extremely rude to put subtitles when the person from the store is explaining in English. I don't know who makes those decisions, but such a lower level of empathy.
Not everyone is fluent. It is definitely useful to have subtitles.
Eggy fart cake.
