Add a bit of almond extract to the berries and sugar. Takes it to a whole new level. 😁. Thanks for this fine recipe.

I saw your video and thought that is the easiest cobbler I’ve ever seen. I had blackberries in the freezer from last year and new ones will be coming soon, so I just made this and it was wonderful, I know what I will be making when the berry picking start!!!

Gonna try this one! Been looking for an old school cobbler like grandma's and I think this is it. I appreciate you getting directly to the recipe and not babbling about this or that, lol. Annoys me when all I want is a recipe, not a life's story. Don't need your drama, lol - just good food! Thanks bunches 💓

Up here, our first harvest is from our Rhubarb so the first cobbler of the year is Strawberry-Rhubarb, once the local Blackberries come into season we spend a lot of time hiking and picking. This looks very similar to my mom’s cobbler recipe. Now that’s the way a cobbler is supposed to look ! Really good, Thanks for sharing.

I'm ready for dessert and I haven't even had Supper yet. LOL this looks delicious 😋. A little Home Made ice cream to top it off. Or just a little fresh cream on top in a bowl. Okay now I have my mouth watering. Yum thanks for sharing, your friend Bryan

I usually just use my DIY pancake mix. Watched you canning milk video. You took some flack on that one. Crazy how some attack you. You told them early in the video it was not an approved method. Everything in that canner reached boiling because you reached the 10 pounds of pressure. My thoughts were that if you continued for 10 minutes you would have met the guidelines for not needing to sterilize the jars and lids. Would the flavor change much if you processed for 10 minutes? Just found your channel today, will thumb thru you videos. :)

If you process the milk for 10 minutes, it does change the flavor and the color gets more of a neutral tone. I just brush off the nay sayers, honestly if I can help one person get through an emergency with a needed skill, I’m happy. 💕

I agree. It's been a while since I've done my homework I can't recall why they say no to dairy. Botulism is a soil based bacterial so reaching xxx temperature should kill the bacteria. Pasteurized milk is what 160 degrees. I've never seen our country this untested. All the political stuff is horrible but it doesn't bother me as much as all the shortages we've been seeing and the the crops failures. Then to hear that they disposed of crops that they couldn't get to market. Horizon puts milk in paper cartons with short a shelf life on it of maybe 4 to 6 months. Yes it can be done. Most rebel recipes are just untested for lack of funding not that they are harmful.
