You could do something like Polkelt -> Guess the Weight -> Old god -> Alexstraza and so on. Maybe even run a Malygos combo with the eclipse cards.
I actually am super curious if the new Paladin card will be decent. If you hold on to the side quest, you are summoning 5 2/2s on turn 4/5. Besides that, it is a board refill. If you are playing a hyper aggro deck, there is a chance your opponent has to spend their whole turn on AOE thus leaving you free rein to create a wide board again. Also remember you will still have 2 mana remaining on the turn you play Day at the Faire on turn 5. As long as you have 1& 2 mana cards, it is a decent turn 5. Play a Hand of Adal on one of them and it's a 5 mana 7/7 draw a card. Play 2 Blazing Battle Mages and it's 5 mana 9/9. I really think it has potential. I do agree that at the end of the day it will come down to whether or not we get some kind of silverhand/ buff synergy card, but I am hopeful Blizzard will make it happen.

Yogg is basicaly graveyard for PRO scene of Hearthstone
Guess the weight + Lorekeeper Polkelt. Just saying that's a possibility if you already have guess the weight in your hand, and make sure you only have ONE of a particular cost card in your hand the turn you play it.
there's actually strategy involved in Yogg's pyro blasts if you play it when your ahead on health or have a lot of armor its more likely your opponent dies to pyroblast first.
Whispers of the old gods is back! Let’s gooooo finally control will be good again
Just think about it. Solar eclipse into lightning bloom. I just blew your mind.
Cthun the shattered is gonna become the new elysiana its absolutely insane. Start of game effect that shuffles a bunch of free removal and taunt cards into your deck for free vs fatigue, every control deck will run this..
Blur + Yogg vs ice block = pyroblast fun times
This will cast pyroblast forever ?
@@juliansafrudin1656 it just stops, just like defile and grim Patron interaction
Big question: if cthun the shattered and genn are in the same deck... Do you get the effect of genn?
Turn 5 Knife Juggler + Day at the fare *chef’s kiss*
Silas Darkmoon can also be a 2 card clear the board by running it with doomsayer
9 mana 2 cards
I argue that if Silas Darkmoon sees major play, if your opponent plays it to steal your Rattlegore, you just play yours to steal it back.
Darkmoon rabbit is basically Bunnicula
There is a broken combo with demon hunter and yogg rod of roasting, if you can make urself immune and then yog and you get rod of roasting, you win, unlikely, but still its cool to think about.
Neutral legendary incoming: Battlecry: corrupt all corrupt cards on your deck
By the way, if you observe Yogg reveal in the trailer... There is a legendary totem on the board.
Guess the Weight has a huge opportunity to draw *wayyyyy* more than 1.7 cards in any deck that runs polkelt, particularly highlander decks. At that point it's basically a 2 mana Psychmelon. You could do something like Polkelt -> Guess the Weight -> Old god -> Alexstraza and so on. Maybe even run a Malygos combo with the eclipse cards.
I think it only draws one extra card, I don't think the effect repeats.
@@chaisemaurice8150 Ah dang. Either way, you can still use it with Lorekeeper to guarantee 2 draws, which is pretty sick.
@@TecKirb druid is definitely the king of two Mana ramp and draw.
I wonder if warrior could slot in all four gods- or even just minus y’shaarj
For some reason, I REALLY wanna play Yogg 2.0 on Spell Hunter on Standard and I hope there will be support for that in this expansion.
Silas darkmoon is definitely gonna be used for memes.
Im happy to see a slower meta, while Im enjoying the meta now I would really like some control decks to be relevant
These card cost related effects are giving me Joust flashbacks.
Oh my god. I’ve been playing Yogg and C’Thun in every class in Wild since Old Gods dropped. I clamored and championed endlessly for the Yogg nerf revert. I’ve prayed daily for the return of the OGs. My time has finally come. Let’s fucking go.
Will you play 3 C'thuns ?
Yes.
Guess the weight plus Pokelt makes it much more of a guaranteed thing.
Do the old cthun invoke cards (give your cthun +1 +1 wherever he is) work on the new cthun?
I have the same question...
Finally priest has a win condition! And burn from hand, eye of c'thun and c'thun the shattered... granted its one card.
at 8:20 that's wrong. it cost 0 this turn but its not corrupt. so u NEED to play any 1+cost card to corrupt them first at same turn as y'shaarj
It says corrupted, not corrupt. They're different things
So if you play Y’Shaarj do you get those cards with the corrupted effect already active? Or are they at their base that turn?
Guessing from the power level of the other Old God's, and by the specification of it saying "Add Corrupted Cards you played this game" I'd say the former.
I don’t know if I wanna toss C’Thun or Yogg in my control shaman they both fit well
Just throw in both. If you cared about winning, you wouldn't be playing control shaman
@@chaisemaurice8150 here's hoping that shaman gets good cards this set.
Imagine the Darkmoon Rabbit, N'zoth combo in the late game control v control matchup
