  • The Diving is spectacular at Grace Bay and Northwest point on the island of Providenciales in Turks and Caicos. Visibility is at least 30m, with a balmy 29 degrees celsius water temperature. We all wore skin suits or shorties and were very comfortable. The reef is still in good condition, with plenty of tube sponges, gorgonian fans, brain corals and branching corals. A healthy reef brings vibrant marine life and we were lucky to see Grey Reef and Nurse sharks, Green Turtles, Rays, Porcupine and trunk fish, Spiny lobsters, Surgeon and Parrotfish. The Beaches resort had a great family friendly dive team. #Scuba4Families

    What a great video! We are going in two weeks - things may be a little different post-COVID - but it was nice to see the conditions, boats, dive sites, etc.

    As they're diving, which scuba divers are Tori, her daughters, sister, and nieces amongst the other the divers? I only enjoy that from them.

    Awesome video, we'll definitely go diving when we go to Turks next month. You have a good eye spotting the octopus, so hard to see them.

    I have been making dive videos in the Pacific Northwest of the U.S. One day I would love to spend a few weeks where the water is warm and the visibility is great.

    We are going there in mid October, do you recommend using a wet suit? I've never been and don't know what the water temps are in October. If so, what wet suit thickness is recommended?

    • @scuba4families447
      @scuba4families447  Рік тому

      Hello Joseph, yes you could use a 3mm wetsuit which will keep you warm. I didn’t in July as water temp was 29c so very warm for us 😀happy diving!

    Do you need to know how to swim to scuba dive ?

    • @jackmuchukot7201
      @jackmuchukot7201 2 роки тому

      yes, during certification you have to do a ten minute water tread and what i believe is a 200m swim with only your mask.

    It's not a Green Turtle - It's a Hawksbill Turtle.

      Is it thanks for letting me know -what the key difference ?

    • @mickeykash
      @mickeykash 3 роки тому +1

      @@scuba4families447Hawksbill turtles have a sharp curving beak with a prominent cutting edge, Green turtles on the other hand have a less sharp beak.
