I love the felt and card stock together. The layers are wonderful. This is one of my favorite cards! I am going to copy you on this. Thanks very creative!
Just love your fur baby stopping by just when you are putting Santa together! As to the cards, lovely as usual! St. Nick was the beginning or Father Christmas... Santa is fine as there may even be other names in Europe....
I have a father Christmas tree. I love it, but I also like santa. I'm excited this will go with my tree so I can make coordinating cards!! Beautifully card!!
Beautiful card! I think the St. Nick on this card is lovely, especially with the dark red felt. Using St. Nick is different, and it's great to do different sometimes! Thx
Looks like that is layer pieces for the boots. The list on SB’s site says Boots and then Boots Layers. I love all the Santa’s and St Nick’s. Using felt is a great way to step it up. I have some dark red handmade paper - like mulberry paper. I’m thinking that would look great too. 🤔 Thanks for sharing!!
Don’t really celebrate Christmas any more, but I still own a rather large collection of table top Santa’s and St. Nicks. Even one about three feet long who lays under the Christmas tree! Probably time to give away or donate to add to someone else’s holiday joy! Love your card, it turned out amazing!
I love the felt idea! Isn't it fun crafting with cats lol? Mine LOVE to sit or lay down right on top of my project and bring my progress to a screeching halt lol. I love them so much though that it's all good. 😻
Beautiful card! Anything Christmas works for me, I do love all the variations of Father Christmas or St. Nick, but I love me a Jolly old Santa too. When it comes to the Christmas holiday, do it all❤
Wow that’s a lot of work but pretty😂 @ 8:31 Hi Kitty Kitty😻 My cats are constantly on my table…one has very long silky soft hair that picks up my tiny die cuts by static electricity I guess…they stick to his fur and I’m chasing him around checking his undercarriage for missing pieces lol🤣🤪
I wonder if the boot/hat situation is that they are layering pieces? For dimension? Tim Holtz does a lot of dies that way, maybe Spellbinders are as well. So a lighter color on top...not sure. Such a cute set! Love it.
This is definitely St. Nicholas (St. Nick) or Father Christmas. I can totally see making different outfits with this die, the way you can buy figurines with different robes/coats. The commercialized chubby fella is Santa.
I just ordered the set and also wondered how those two shapes would be used and I also thought boots???? I made one card using the red, white and black glitter foam and it turned out okay, but I’ll make another one and try the boots dies but use cardstock. I want to order the felt!!
Super cute santa. I honestly don't even notice the shorter position on the boots once everything is in place on the card front. I love old-world santas, but obviously, being from the US, we are used to our traditional santa. But I love both the old world and traditional.
Tina, have you ever made A6 cards which are 4 1/2 X 6 1/4? They are a bit larger than A2 but smaller than A7. Spellbinders dies frequently fill an A2 card front with one die so I need to move the card size up a bit. The A6 gives me the space for a big Santa (for example) and other elements that create the design I need.
Love this card and laughed so hard when your cat demanded your full attention! I grew up with Santa so I’m team Santa. I do feel like St. Nick is European or “old world” and he’s always elegant.
I think St. Nick was more European. I love St. Nick for the older more antique look for Santa's. This card is so cute. I could tell you were getting the giggles about his boots. He did look funny. I am definitely going to have to get this St. Nick set.
Hi, I love how your kitty likes to join you. He's so cute! I like the idea of using the felt, great idea. I like Santa, thats what I grew up with. Your card is fantastic. Got a chuckle about the boots. Question, does the felt cut out just like paper in your machine? Tfs.Sherry 🇨🇦.
I really the way you used St Nick boots on your card it's perfect for the older St Nick. Santa for me is a little rounder than St Nick is taller, and the clothes has a different style from each other.
I think the 2 hats is taller one in white, has ball on end and white band on bottom, 2nd hat in red, layered on top, of course this is easier with paper not so thick.
I think St. Nick is more European, I live in the UK. I like both depending on who I make the card for, but my preference is St.Nick. Beautiful card as always. X
Team Santa all the way! I am an American, it’s what we are raised to call him.Santa is a household name with us and it’s commercialized by our media and special events involving Christmas. I believe that St. Nickolas is old world charm.
I have all ways been Team Santa. But as I get older, the St Nick has drawn me in. I am pretty much good for anything Christmas, my favorite! Very cute card!
I like St. Nicholas, Santa Claus, Santa, Mr. Claus... all nice and appropriate names. I think most adult/older people know both St. Nicholas and Santa Claus/Santa.
Your card design is lovely! I am not such a St Nick fan,….many along with certain angels are vintage &. Kind of creepy to me. It’s very European. Give me a jolly Santa any day!
Your kitty is adorable!❤❤I love this card! Thank you for sharing!!
This is absolutely beautiful. What a difference the felt makes. Thanks so much for sharing.
I love the felt and card stock together. The layers are wonderful. This is one of my favorite cards! I am going to copy you on this. Thanks very creative!
Beautiful card as always ❤
I love this card and I have this set. You have inspired me to give it a go!
Fun card, Tina! It’s always been Santa for me, but I do have some beautiful St Nicolas decorations!
Hi Tina, Wonderful looking collection. Might have to indulge! Great inspiration. Thanks
Just love your fur baby stopping by just when you are putting Santa together! As to the cards, lovely as usual! St. Nick was the beginning or Father Christmas... Santa is fine as there may even be other names in Europe....
Love this card!

I prefer the European style Saint Nick. Super fun cute card. Can’t wait for Friday to see what you create with the negative piece!
Really pretty! You crack me up talking about those feet!!😂 love the card! TYFS 🎄
I have a father Christmas tree. I love it, but I also like santa. I'm excited this will go with my tree so I can make coordinating cards!! Beautifully card!!
The felt will really make this card stand out from the rest. It's wonderful!
Beautiful card! I think the St. Nick on this card is lovely, especially with the dark red felt. Using St. Nick is different, and it's great to do different sometimes! Thx
love the trees! i would never have tried this without seeing you doing it! and your NAILS look AWESOME!!!

Thanks for sharing!!
So cute and done beautifully with furry helpers! Could that extra little die be sacks? 😊❤️🇨🇦😻😻. I always grew up with Santa. Love Santa!
Beautiful card! The boots part was funny! 😂
I love your St Nick! Yes he is more traditional to Europe.

Fantastic card. We call him Santa . From 🇨🇦 Ontario.
I love the felt idea! Isn't it fun crafting with cats lol? Mine LOVE to sit or lay down right on top of my project and bring my progress to a screeching halt lol. I love them so much though that it's all good. 😻
Thank you for the giggle today. I always enjoy watching you. Gotta say team Santa for me!
Stunning card Tina 😻 I love the die-set, the felt and your little scene ❤️ thanks for sharing your creativity Hugs xx
Cool card. I like the old world look of this Santa, but I like all 🎅
Beautiful card. Tfs. ❤
Amazing. Cute. Thanks for sharing
This would make a wonderful holiday "Framed Decor" for a table ....
Beautifully done!
Beautiful card! Anything Christmas works for me, I do love all the variations of Father Christmas or St. Nick, but I love me a Jolly old Santa too. When it comes to the Christmas holiday, do it all❤
Morning Tina and kittie! Cute card.

Just when I think Spellbinders can’t get any better, they do. Love this set. Beautiful card.
I wonder if the boot/hat situation is that they are layering pieces? For dimension? Tim Holtz does a lot of dies that way, maybe Spellbinders are as well. So a lighter color on top...not sure. Such a cute set! Love it.
Lovely card Tina, we usually always said Father Christmas. He had the longer coat. Xx
I love, love, love St. Nick. I cant wait to get this die set.
I’m partial to Santa…cute card
I’m wondering if the die in question is an alternate version of his boots? Love your card, see you Friday!

I like them both but yes, St. Nick is less jolly than Santa. Btw I’m trying to figure it out what are those pieces too lol😂
I think St. Nick was more European. I love St. Nick for the older more antique look for Santa's. This card is so cute. I could tell you were getting the giggles about his boots. He did look funny. I am definitely going to have to get this St. Nick set.

I like both, but I’m more partial to the look of St Nick. ❤
I love Father Christmas. He is more vintage vs Santa having jacket and pants
I really the way you used St Nick boots on your card it's perfect for the older St Nick.

QUESTION- where do you get your double sided tape- do you have a link?? - thank you!
It’s in the project supplies list under the video description.
See you Friday.
I like St. Nicholas, Santa Claus, Santa, Mr. Claus... all nice and appropriate names. I think most adult/older people know both St. Nicholas and Santa Claus/Santa.
Team Santa, unless I'm making it for my sister, then St. Nicholas...lol
I’m excited for this die! We have always celebrated St. Nicholas day! St. Nicholas is the original Santa Claus❤
I love santa and st nick. Why didnt you just make a slimline? You could have gotten all of him on the card.
Why not just make a 5"x7: card?
Santa
Your card design is lovely! I am not such a St Nick fan,….many along with certain angels are vintage &. Kind of creepy to me. It’s very European. Give me a jolly Santa any day!
