As a French I agree about Sarr. To be fair I feel like the NA fans and scouts were much more optimistic about him than us French. Our national media (who usually like to hype as much as they can french talents) didnt say much about Sarr before the NA media machine started hyping him up. That in itself says a lot. I understand the potential but to me he was drafted so much higher than what he showed for now. Hope he can prove me wrong. And yes, Traore is the next big thing after Wemby and arrives at a perfect timing for the French National team. He is oozing with potential, and is a legit top 3 pick. Lightning fast 1st step, good size, superb scorer, can distribute and can be really decent shooter from deep. To me he would have been the first pick without much debate if Cooper Flagg wasn't there.
Search Sylvain Francisco it’s a french guard that is one of the best handler in euroleague he wasn’t pick in the national team cause he is 6’2, but is a really good offensive player

In fact the main issue of the French national team will be the point guard position (not all the guard positions). Our team will have decent players at the shooting guard position (Okobo, Hifi, Cordinier, Fournier, Coulibaly, etc). I Hope Hifi and Cordinier got an NBA contract and reach that level (or play in a big EuroLeague team such as Real Madrid). I also hope Coulibaly develops his offensive bag in the NBA. However, at the point guard position we have no one except Nolan Traoré (who is a work in progress). Strazel, Maledon, and Sylvain Francisco can play point guard but I have doubts they will improve and be greatter players. Hayes can also play point guard for the team. However, he needs to put his shits together and work harder lool. I truly believe in a healthier working environment than Detroit and surrounded by good people, he can improve and become the point guard France needs.

Heurtel is 35, never was a superstar and currently plays in a shitty championship. Since the French team went to finals without him, we can officially say that his international career is over. 😃
He choosed to represent USA. According to FIBA rules he cannot represent other country in the future. He will play teamUSA in LA28 or retire from Olympics altogether.
