Thanks for tuning in! This video demystifies the age-old debate: technique versus strength in self-defense scenarios. The truth is, raw power can only get you so far. When it comes to real-world altercations, especially those involving weapons, technique is your true ally. This is why we recommend every individual-be it a casual martial artist, an MMA fighter, or someone in the military or law enforcement-should include our weapons defense methods in their repertoire. NOTE: These techniques are advanced and should only be practiced under the supervision of certified professionals. Do not attempt them unless you've achieved a certain level of comfort and expertise. My comment is you are a master , I , am 65 and studied all my life since 15 years old. Like you I have many belts . When, teach people I tell them always think that the person in front of you has a hidden Knife and. If they take it out you are dead , I learnt this from Dan Inosanto 40 years ago. He also said that if you have a knife on you at all times , it will save you the problem of disarming the attacker 😂

I have seen a few videos these last few days and I am quite impressed. You take your time to explain the principle instead of showing random techniques, I come from the world that the principle is the main thing, the technique is an illustration of the principle. Can you do a brief video on your background it seems quite solid, well learned. I see other instructors attacking techniques from other systems but they do not show them correctly that only shows that they do not understand the the principle behind the technique.

You're not doing the Russian tie right. Most of your moves are aikido based.
