I am a horticulturist and model maker, so I jumped on these cubes when I saw a review of them by Ninjon. Lots of the images are plant or landscape based, so for me they are great for planting schemes, to create a particular mood or that “wow” factor. The card stock is also very good and the printing is high quality.
That's awesome! I love how many different ways these can be used! I agree about the quality, too. An all-around fantastic product!
I just saw this a couple minutes ago on The Frugalcrafter (Lindsay Weirich) you tube channel and I just ordered the full bundle. OMG. I never saw or heard of this product before and then I see your channel pop up with it too.. This is amazing. I can't imagine how much effort went in to this project. The physical cubes look gorgeous. I too was glad to support a fellow creative. Can't wait to get the cubes. In the meantime, I can drool over the digital versions.
I know!! It's such an incredible product, she did such a fantastic job designing it! I imagine it was quite the feat! I'm so happy to have them. They are so fabulous in person, you will love them!!
Have not used them that much. I think I will try to organize by color families. Very hard to get them out of the box. Love the digital version. Would love to organize them differently.

Yeah, I have heard a few people say they wanted to recognize them! Not a bad idea, especially if it will make it easier to find a specific color scheme that you are looking for!
I use a similar reference but in a book form and I bought it when I was in Japan. It has categories like seasons, colors. They are really handy!

I've had the set of cubes for several months, but I've yet to find a way to organize them in a way that makes them usable. Last night I organized them into groups by the first color on each card. Anyone have any other ideas?
I haven't tried to organize mine yet, so I don't have any ideas. Hopefully, someone else will chime in because I'm curious as well!

Hey Leann, I bought the containers years ago, I think from Jerry's Artarama. I'm not sure what brand they are because it's been so long. I have tried finding them again recently, but I haven't had any luck. I'm not sure if they were discontinued or not. 🥺 Huge bummer because I need more now. Sorry I couldn't be of more help!

I had originally bought them for colored pencils, but the pencils were too long, so they sat in my studio for a couple years, until I started using markers. Now I want more and can't find them anywhere! Lol. Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the video! 💖

there are many palette creators online. these are so expensive.
Yes there are plenty online, but I didn't want them just for the palette aspect (As I mentioned, I don't tend to struggle in that area.) I love having a tangible product that I can hold in my hand. They are beautiful, well-made, and aesthetically pleasing. Plus, I love that they were made by an artist for other artists, and buying them helps her make a living doing what she loves. I just think it's an all-around cool product, and I'm happy with them! But use whatever resources are affordable and available to you! As long as you find something that inspires you and you enjoy yourself while creating, that's what matters!
Don't buy it. They have terrible customer service!
