We will not continue to focus on the Camino de Santiago even if we go back to Spain already next year.
The idea is to make this channel more personal and share our lives, adventures and of course hikes and nature experiences.
Going forward, we will continuously publish videos where we show and tell how we think when we plan and carry out various adventures, big and small.
We hope you will like the changes and that you will continue to follow us.

I love all your videos, the combination of the shared journey, mini tours of Albergues, your meal stops and of course your approach to hiking. I would like you to include - the season and month, the practical preparations, and to hear how hiking nourishes your lives. Also I'd be happy to see you hiking in Sweden too. I'll give you an honest answer. Sometimes it is not easy to find interesting topics to make videos about and it is not always easy to reach out to the viewers. I can see that people watch my videos, but not everyone subscribes, and then it is difficult to decide whether to continue, change or stop. But when we get comments like yours, it can make the difference, I get back the motivation to keep going. Thank you so much for what you wrote. 🙏😃🚶🏼♂️

Hi guys. Good news again. I have been following your hikes for a long time. Might as well say, your discriptions about the various hikes through Spain are farout THE BEST!!!! All the information one can think of and useful. I did my Camino Frances in 2013. For next year been thinking about the VIA de la Plata. Starting in Sevilla. As far I know you did not walk this Camino. Any special reason? If you do so, you will find me again sticking on the computer!! After whatching all your videos it feels like I know both of you as a part of the family! So, keep up the good work/spirit. Wish you Fast and ( slow ) hiker, just joking, all the best and a very good and healthy 2024!! By the way, I am a Dutchman.

youtube has a lot content about te camino de Santiago, your video's I like the most. I watched some of them several times before and after I cycled it last summer.

Hello from Newfoundland…….love your videos, have watched from the very beginning. One word of advice, change the channel title from ‘the fast hiker’ to ‘a fast hiker’ and you’ll be found in many more searches as the search engine is prioritized in alphabetical order!
I think it’s a great idea to film more in Sweden featuring your lives there and your approach to planning and obtaining supplies for your long distance hikes on the Camino trails and others. I would get a kick out of learning more about Swedish customs when it comes to food and recreation in the winter time……similarly cold and icy here in Newfoundland.

I really enjoyed the walking videos and plans are underway for next year for the Camino Frances from seeing your travels, so thank you! Will be good to follow the new approach. Have you looked at some of the Italian walks through the regions to Rome, Assisi, Ligurian coast or around the northern lakes? Opens up a whole new destination, views, etc. Merry Xmas to you both.
