It's so weird explosive runes works like that on a divine shield minion. Divine shield prevents the next instance of damage, but explosive runes deals 6 damage and excess is dealt to hero. It feels like based on the text that the entire 6 damage should be prevented, but only lethal damage for the minion is prevented?
Yeah I agree, it’s always been weird. It’s probably because the way the card is likely coded: damage to face = 6 - health of minion, but divine shield should absorb all the damage imo.
Yeah, there were 3 options: 1) Divine Shield eats all the damage and nothing goes face 2) Divine Shield eats damage up to the creature's health and the rest goes face 3) Divine Shield eats 1 damage and 5 damage goes face I'm guessing they went with the middle option since it's the most balanced (First makes Divine Shield strong and last makes it weak)
I know it wouldnt work in this case but for future reference, at 6:30, if Brian had casted the Ice Barrier first, would it recast from the Orb? Or does it count it as a one cost card?
Exactly the same association I had when I have heard it in Kibler’s clips. He uses it often, I’m a piece of shit and never looked to see who composed it.
I love your upload consistency. I always get to watch a new kibbler video on my first break at work

I mean it says *excess damage* , not *overkill* and since 1 damage is enough to pop divine shield, 5 damage is excess and should hit face.
I think Explosive Runes checks the minions health, deals that amount to the minion and the rest to face.
Yeah but then Just delete the secret cuz it would be unusable
There's something beautifully appropriate in a gifted sub bomb getting followed up by exploding the opponent's face.
Yog never betrays, all is just according to his plan

Only scam
Spell mage deck from nohandsgamer is better 100 Times than these random fiesta
If you think Kibler is trying to make and play top meta decks, I've got bad news for you
And yet it's way less sweet
Imagine being a tryharder in hs 2024
Kibler do it with style stop hain.
The real reason to play games is to have fun, not to worry about win rates
