I’ve always just loved Fergus (young and adult). I love that Jamie and Claire adopted him and love him as their own son. I just wish that he would address them as mom and dad. Hopefully soon
I don’t think he ever will because Milord and Milady are his versions of mom and dad. He would introduce himself as their son and his children are their grandchildren. The words he uses to express mom and dad might be different from what others might use but they carry the same weight for him and for them so it works :)
The two ending shots....Fergus saying goodbye to Claire , turning and leaving not realizing he wont see her again. Then Fergus turning around with no idea Claire is there. The juxtaposition between sad child saying goodbye to happy adult saying hello....
Love this character & both actors played him well. Recently saw a posting that Claire may be his descendent. I wished that they told him about Claire, Briana & Roger's time traveling abilities. Thanks for sharing this.
J'aime Fergus comme j'aime tt le Clan Fraser, je suis française, j'aime et j'aimerais tjrs cette famille unique, Jr ne sais comment l'écrire mais c'est ce que je ressens ❤❤❤
Fergus was always their son :) They were finally able to give him his proper Fraser name now that it was safe and the name wasn’t associated with the Jacobites and the traitorous fugitive Red Jamie. Had Fergus been officially given the Fraser name before or at Culloden, he would have been in great danger by association in the aftermath and especially when Jamie was on the run, like how Ian was taken constantly and harassed for just being his brother in law, let alone his son, and might even been marked as a traitor himself for his involvement had it been known. Fergus losing his hand due to a soldier’s gut feeling of a possible connection shows that. It’s why Jamie never spoke to anyone about his son Fergus’s existence when he was imprisoned or indentured at Helwater, to keep him safe. Now that Jamie has been pardoned, he is finally able to openly acknowledge their son. It was even more special that Fergus had his mother Claire at his wedding and when he officially received his name, something he never thought he would be able to share with her. They did come back from France with a child :)
Me encanta Fergus adolesente además que joven con una cara tan perfecta, sus rasgos ese cabello, también ha hecho muy buen papel,le abono la nobleza y la gratitud eterna a Jamie y Claire👏👏👏🇦🇲
*SPOILERS FOR SEASON SIX AND I THINK THE BOOKS* I love this lil Les Mis Gavroche clone to pieces, but if he doesn’t kick the drink and start treating Marsali better, Papa Jaime is gonna have WORDS for him! Seriously, my dude’s about to become a father of four, and he’s hitting the whiskey HARD! Shape up there, Buachaill!
@@lilajanechronicles2543 listen, lol… they obviously care for Fergus but not enough in my opinion. The single sweetest thing Jamie did for Fergus was give him his last name during Fergus’s wedding (brought quite a few tears to my eyes). I don’t feel like they treat him as a son though and I’m absolutely shocked that Bree was back for 5 minutes before Jamie told her to call him ‘Da’ meanwhile Fergus is still calling he and Claire Mi Lord and Mi Lady (that really annoys me) AND the boy fell apart completely right under their eyes and they did nothing. Absolutely nothing. (I will however amend my earlier statement and say that next to giving Fergus his last name, saving him from committing suicide is a VERY close second). I will however say that every iteration of the Fergus character has been absolutely adorable and loveable.
@@gregoryfoster1802 i understand that from your perspective. However the books are different. Fergus uses Mi lord and milady affectionately, he also sees Jenny and Ian as parents too. As for Bree, he dreamed of her all those years alone. Every time he questioned sending Claire away he thought of the life he gave that child who may otherwise have died in his time. Also the suicide attempt, you mentioned they didnt see him falling apart and did nothing to help him. He like most people, hid it very well. It also should be noted that in the books Fergus didnt walk around like a drunk the way he did on the show. Nobody had a clue, not even Marsali that he was that far gone. Also Jamie bought him a print shop and helped give him purpose again. So respectfully, I disagree.
@@lilajanechronicles2543 I hear everything you’re saying (I have not read the novels) however in the show Jocasta bought him the print shop and Jamie was not happy about it. Re the drinking, Claire mentioned at least twice that Fergus was drinking way more than usual and something was wrong and Jamie’s response was something along the lines of “he’ll pull through.” When he saw Fergus walking in the woods he knew what was coming because they absolutely saw him falling apart… it’s 100% why he followed Fergus. And don’t get me wrong, I am not arguing with you AT ALL, I just love gossiping about this show!
I love the way Jamie calls him son by my name and by heart
I loved this character. Both actors portrayed him beautifully.

Young Fergus is fabulous & older Fergus is gorgeous, Love them both. 🕺🏼🕺🏼👍🏼👍🏼🙏🏼🧡💜
OMG the line about how his real name is claudell but we agreed that wasn't very manly is hysterical!

Adult or not, when he saw her again and hugged her he was that little boy in his mother’s arms again.
Love this. Fergus is legit one of my favorite characters and I have a hard time deciding which actor I like better. So lovely.
Brought tears to my eyes.
Me too, so cute boy.
Made me cry. Young Fergus is best Fergus for me
Same
I think the young Fergus grew to be a good man and warrior.
Adorable.....simply adorable....and what an amazing song....
Wonderful and beautiful. He was so charming in his young years.
simply beautiful, I am in tears. love Fergus, love this video.

Sad that the three of them did not get to enjoy much of a family life while Ferguson was younger. ClAire missed so much
I would like to have seen more of this boy....❤

O fergus pré adolescente parece uma obra de arte, uma pintura ou uma inteligência artificial de tão lindo e carismático c❤❤

Beautiful ❤family!!
OMG Jamie was SO YOUNG here!!!
I miss fergus!!
In some way, I do believe Fergus is James and Claire’s child, because he had Claire’s black curly hair and Jamie’s blue eyes. Love him so much.❤❤❤

There’s more to it than that…
He’s been through a lot in his life rougher childhood than any of the characters on the show. I hope they give him a happy ending.
Fergus. Not Ferguson, which is a surname.
Claire and Jamie don’t deserve Fergus.
Why?
