Audi RNS-E audio aux source activation is a quick procedure. Your radio navigation system (also called Audi Navigation Plus) can play AUX-IN audio sources (stereo line-in), so you can connect your phone with your cars sound system.

I think this cause the battery drain.In my theory the best is to get the power wire from fuse box which is connect with igniation on / off.That's i have done and its work.You need a fuse taps set as well.

FR: Mettez le "+" (fil rouge du module) sur D13 et le "-" (fil noir du module) sur D12 pour que le module s'éteigne quelques secondes ou minutes après avoir éteint l'autoradio ou le contact de la voiture. Donc ça n'usera pas la batterie.
EN: Put the "+" (red wire of the module) on D13 and the "-" (black wire of the module) on D12 so that the module turns off a few seconds or minutes after turning off the car radio or the car ignition. So it won't wear out the battery.

Followed instructions and coding part. Added 4 to the existing 3 so I typed in 7 in the second last number in my code. Clicked Do it! on VCDS then I get an error message "out of range, unable to set premaster" and it's not programming the radio. Any ideas??? .

Yes, you have to add +4 to the second last number, for example you have 1 there, so you have to add 4 to it, so then there will be the number 5.

I've been trying to get this to work for months. I don't have the VCDS software to code the Aux channel on. I finally found a local guy and he tried but failed. Looks like I need a software update first... Very frustrating... Does anyone have any advice? Where/how can I get the software updated, if this is in fact the thing I need to do...

I’m trying to do this on my 2003 s6 avant, have it hooked up and everything but when I try to enter the nav control module it keeps giving me no response from controller. Ignition is in the on position idk why it’s not working

You must have coded incorrectly. Only the penultimate number needs to be changed. +4 is added to the original value.

@@SeFxck if you coded aux, you need to restart the radio. Hold down the radio and setup buttons for 10 seconds.
