Mate I don't want to worry you but I was diagnosed with a serious illness last year, the first symptom being an easily cracked rib. If you haven't already had it ask for a blood test and xray. I know this seems overkill but if I can stop even one person spending six months in hospital getting chemo like me last year I will get the word out there. Enough doom and gloom great channel!
Thanks Gido for your refreshingly honest fishing. You don’t glamourise what you do. But we reckon you are a star. We forward your videos all over the world. Well done
Lovely. South Coast WA in Summer. Love those Hessa's, they fry up beautifully with some lemon and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. 😋It's not always about the biggest fish. Thanks, Gido.
Source a good quality comfrey ointment (also known as bone knit) for the rib bone or cartilage damage. Speeds up healing and draws out bruising. Thanks for another great vid from my old stomping grounds! 👊
Thanks Gido awesome as always, I remember you asking what we wanted to see in the videos and I said Jew fish and maybe some beach fishing. Job done. Hope you feel better soon love your videos
Sorry to hear about you getting hurt, hope you have a quick recovery and thanks for still being able to make content. Always enjoy every one of your posts. 🤙🏾
AT LAST you are finally fishing like the rest of us Grunts😂 You actually put us to shame with your high adrenaline fishing. Still I would do the same if I had beautiful weather, beautiful beaches/islands and beautiful fish. Nice one mate always a good video. Oh yes. Get well soon.
Visited WA for the first time, absolutely beautiful coastline and the fishing was insane. Didn't know u could catch so many whiting in one spot. Offshore was good fun too. Will definitely be visiting again.
4:20 Some advice I have learned from greybeards and repeated it. if you are fishing creeks / estuaries like this. Bring a kayak and for the PB bream, sit over the deep spot at night (like 2 am, correct moon cycle etc). If you want Mulloway, come back here after massive rains and this creek breaches to the sea. Then sit about 50m offshore, on day 2. PS. Those were the laziest dolphins I've ever seen. Floating about in the warm shallows.
Great video as always mate! hopefully the recovery goes well and it doesn't turn into anything serious! Is there much dabbing at night in calmer waters i love doing it over here in South Aus, never really got a chance when we were living in Albany, But normally everything comes out at night and you can find crabs, squid, gar and all sorts at night and sometimes only in knee deep water would make an epic video!
Ha u should try & cast, being right handed & a busted back right rib sucks butttt hay where’s there’s a way there’s a will Gido, butttt still hasn’t stopped me from climbing up & down cliffs 😖😵 & fishing AND OF COURSE WATCHING UR COOL VIDS 👍
Gidayo, I Broke ribs back in the day playing Aussie rules but none of them were mine 😉but seriously I've torn the connecting tissue between the ribs and that bloody hurts, you said you heard a crunch could be cracked you'll be right 👍.
@Gido's Fishing Adventures You should grab some underwater footage from time to time, Mate! Beautiful beach, nice white sand, but no underwater footage to see the life. Hope you're feeling a bit better form the busted ribs. Not being picky, just think it would enrich the content a little. I still want to take a trip over to Coober Pedy. I know that sounds kind of silly, but I want to dig up my own opel and they got the best. I'm a tradie, always busy. Thanks a lot, be safe! Cheers Mate! 👍✌
Yeh underwater footage is awesome. A bit of mucking around to make it happen but worth it. Make time and do the trip then. Sounds like a great adventure
Cooking section 👍 great views-potential-if you were starving or a peasant I’d say the ground up toxic grass weed but we all are -1st world so-go vitamin anti inflammatory pill (eggs)omelet. Flour is next to sugar as inflammation(pain)enhancer. Never touch it Don’t feed ya kids it
You probably just popped a rib off its front mooring, still hurts for a month or two though ! And look out for that weed, more than person has grabbed a lump of weed and got spiked by a weever(small poison spined fish !) that was on the hook.
Do you carry Max Trax when you're off road, especially on sand? Awesome bits of kit imo and mine have saved me a couple of times already. I basically won't go onto a beach without them and a long handled shovel.
A few decent logs or sticks do nearly as good a job for free and without having to carry them around everywhere, and you shouldn't really need them at all if you have lowered your tire pressure and are reading the sand properly. I never used max Trax at all in cape york in many years.
@@okalov Good for you. The first time I got stuck, listened to someone I shouldn't have, there was no time or sticks to save my vehicle. Also reading the sand can be problematic if you aren't doing it the whole time. Some of us have jobs etc so off roading is a part time thing. Given the cost of a modern 4wd why wouldn't you have a few hundred bucks worth of recovery gear?
My husband, "But that truck has been modified, that's not standard" Me, "Heavily modified utility vehicles IS the Aussie standard, babe" My husband, "......... You have a point" 🤣🤣🤣
@gidosfishingadventures how do you like the casting trigger? I got one a while back from insta adds, found it to be more of a ballache than casting normally myself with no noticeable difference in range
My guy, this was probably the worst video I’ve seen from you. Way too much talking and I fast forwarded all the way to the end because you never caught anything.. I never see you skunked so I’ll let this one go lol but this trip was sad😅

All the best mate
Everyday is fishing day but not catching day
Thanks Gido for your refreshingly honest fishing. You don’t glamourise what you do. But we reckon you are a star. We forward your videos all over the world. Well done

Can get dome good sized bull herring at times. Yep they taste so good pan fried with lemon and black pepper mix. Smoke well also.
Get well soon buddy. I appreciate all of your content not only the cliff fishing.
I definitely enjoy your fishing adventures, thanks for sharing.
Geez gido the minute you introduce cooking segments like this you've opened up a can of worms brah..😂giddos fishing & cooking adventures

Heal well! Thanks for showing us these beautiful places. The dolphin sounds were rad!
Source a good quality comfrey ointment (also known as bone knit) for the rib bone or cartilage damage. Speeds up healing and draws out bruising.
Thanks for another great vid from my old stomping grounds! 👊
Honestly, this video was great. It was relaxing and soothing.
I have spent 1000 nights on the beach just like that and enjoyed every minute. Love ya work Gido...😊😊😊😊
Get well soon. Enjoy your videos immensely.
Thanks Gido awesome as always, I remember you asking what we wanted to see in the videos and I said Jew fish and maybe some beach fishing. Job done.
Hope you feel better soon love your videos
That light is actually a screen for an old crt monitor or TV.
Also I live fishing from the beach. So relaxing 😊
Sorry to hear about you getting hurt, hope you have a quick recovery and thanks for still being able to make content. Always enjoy every one of your posts. 🤙🏾
get well soon gido good vid mate
Hi Gido, that thing you found on the beech (3:00) isn't a light... it's a picture tube from an old TV, cathode ray tube to be exact.
Surprised to see them still “floating” around. Been a long time since I saw a TV that bulky
Thanks Gido the best as always 🙏🙏
Stunning sunset and star views mate. Heal up legend!!
Great fun beach fishing, hope for a speedy recovery gido.
Gido...those Esperance beaches are beautiful! White, sparkling, squeaky and long!
The stars were awesome!
Visited WA for the first time, absolutely beautiful coastline and the fishing was insane. Didn't know u could catch so many whiting in one spot. Offshore was good fun too. Will definitely be visiting again.

Pantai yang apik...hari cerah untuk memancing di pantai yang indah
Salam 🇲🇨 strike mancing mania Gido's 👍😁
Love your work, and all the killer spots you go to. I've got rib problems now too. At least 5 weeks of not so good sleep. Hang in the!
Thanks for the video Gido!
Great video nice to c a mix up
Fishing is fishing
It was an old tv screen/tube that was the glass thing you found.
I like the videos you post very much and enjoy watching them.🎉🎉🎉🎉😂😂😂

Awesome area, so beautiful
Hope you feel better soon, Gido. Craig
Sounds like you damaged the cartilage that supports the ribs, your omelette/frittata looked tasty and the dolphin footage was great!
Thanks Gido!
Great stuff as always mate

Yup !
What a way to finish the video though
😊

that pancake still looked tasty mate
Sorry about your injury Gido. Love your videos. I would watch even if you fished a creek, lol.
You need a small plate (same size as the pancake) to flip it. Cheers from Portugal!
Very true. Second pancake I used my plate and chopping board to flip it. Turned out much better
I actually screenshotted your canopy thinking i must make one like that. Then you tell your story.. ok.
Get better soon.
It was a cheap as chips bolt on job. Plan to replace it with something better that has doors that go all the way down eventually. Just more $$
That my friend is fishing top vid thanks for posting AAA
Cheers mate

تحياتي وتقديري لك شكرا على هذا المحتوى
Heal up p🙏☝️
2:43 that a little hayabusa lure? They work mint over here in nz for snapper
The "light" was an old TV tube.
Awesome
Just started and hope you finally got a big jewy!!! (But probably not right)
Hey! What the heck? Break a rib on your rig? I'd have put money on a rappelling incident! Heal up and thank you for toughing one out for all of us!
You might have dislocated one of your ribs, pops and crunches are pretty telltale of cartilage damage. My back makes similar noises lol.
Nice! Why were or are you seemingly so far back from the water when you cast and retrieve?
Casting at or near water’s edge but retrieving back up near the rod holder
❤❤❤
Cooking section 👍 great views-potential-if you were starving or a peasant I’d say the ground up toxic grass weed but we all are -1st world so-go vitamin anti inflammatory pill (eggs)omelet. Flour is next to sugar as inflammation(pain)enhancer. Never touch it

Your gunna owe the missus a new spatula.
You probably just popped a rib off its front mooring, still hurts for a month or two though !
And look out for that weed, more than person has grabbed a lump of weed and got spiked by a weever(small poison spined fish !) that was on the hook.
Of course you don’t care about the catch! U caught every single thing I dream to catch.
i have watched pretty much all your vids and i can't remember you ever catching a tailor , do you not get them down your way ? awesome vid as usual.
Not often but on occasion. Ive had some great sessions catching them many years ago close to Albany. Not as common as further north though
What size ocean legacy microjig were you using?
I think it was 15g
Top tip for broken or popped ribs, don't catch a cold!
100%
I spent 6 months living and working in bremer bay the beach fishing is hard going. coastline looks familiar. you close to there?
Do you carry Max Trax when you're off road, especially on sand?
Awesome bits of kit imo and mine have saved me a couple of times already.

Man looks ill, not injured
Ainda bem tradução para o português Brasil . Só fã e seguidor. Par🎉bens
I broke a rib same way… reaching into the rod of my pickup truck .. lol . Shit hurts
Cape Le Grande? I've a few stories
Love beach fishing, sadly in Queensland where I am is nothing but sharks doing beach fishing.
No tailor?
@@mcmacmcgee they're out there but I think I've just been unlucky that every time I do go out it's sharks.
Mate just to be safe id get an x-ray to check you don't have a collapsed lung as a result of your ribs, if it's affecting your breathing 👍
Still breathing fine. Hurt to breathe deep initially but getting better fairly quickly
You didn’t do a Marron trip 🧐
5:11 giddo got pitted!
Hai gido
I think this is the closest I've ever seen you to the water 😅😅
Guy is a multi millionaire and he drives a standard Ute, picks up trash for reuse… cool guy, down to earth
My husband, "But that truck has been modified, that's not standard"
Me, "Heavily modified utility vehicles IS the Aussie standard, babe"
My husband, "......... You have a point"
🤣🤣🤣
Cray mission soon Gido?
Yeh man keen as, Autumn will bring some good weather for it
you have those pristine, untouched , undeveloped beautiful beaches there , why you australian keep coming to Bali????
G'day mate definitely not broken more likely bruised or cartilage, 40 years nursing 😊
I was thinking he has a bit of costochondral separation - mental that he goes fishing a week later 😂 Gido's one tough guy
Thanks for a great video 👍
Em chào anh trai chúc anh trai nhiều sức khỏe
Pains me to watch you cast!
I enjoyed this video much better then the bull shit cliff videos
Can't keep a fisherman down
Misses probably pushed him down the stairs
Why haven't you gone to see a doctor? This is insane
Buy a microphone and fix up your audio brah😊
It's seems like your videos is getting boring mate...
Found it hard to go do something exciting with a broken rib. Better than sitting on the couch doing nothing
