- Every weekend, Ukrainians rally to support the families of prisoners of war and advocate for the release of those still in Russian captivity. As of January, 8,000 Ukrainians, both military and civilians, remained in Russian captivity, according to the Ukrainian authorities. We spoke to former prisoners of war and relatives of POWs at one of the recent protests in Kyiv.

At least we should start wearing paraphernalia saying "Russian captivity ķills .Free Azov" The world will never forget Mariupol. Hearing from family members is utterly heartbreaking. I wish Mainstream media and politicians would take a stronger support .

The president of Ukraine, gets paid off on a regular basis not to have peace. These people are dying because of money the president of Ukraine has a $22 million dollar home in Britain. Mariopol and azovstal was getting aid when Russia defeated them
@@glintongordon6811 russia did not "defeat" Mariupol - it's a city - or Azovstal - a steel processing plant. What russian forces did was deliberately destroy them, murdering tens of thousands whose bodies were left to rot under rubble or in the streets until they were removed along with the rubble or disposed of in mobile crematoria, to remove the evidence of the countless crimes committed by russia in that area.
Also, Ukraine wasn't getting the aid it needed and was asking for when those crimes were committed - if they had, the war would be over by now, all prisoners would have been returned to Ukraine, reconstruction would be in process and the world would be a lot safer than it is.
