Blockhitting doesn’t work because you had to press W two times instead of pressing a hotkey so your only option was to w-tap. Blockhitting causes your sprint to stop in case you didn’t know.
What is blockhitting i only know blocking with the sword

It kinda hurts to know that he didnt know about spamming weapons, blocking with a sword, old netherrack, not being able to set your spawn by right clicking a bed thats a new addition, and the fact that shields werent added until much later

I'm glad he got to experience the instantaneous end yeet. Gear up, get all diamond armor, each piece fully enchanted at 50 full levels per piece meaning 200 levels for armor and 100 for sword and bow... All that grinding and then the dragon says "excuse me sir have you met the void? To the shadow realm with ye" and it's all gone. Never any safety as the dragon would fly through all the blocks, no perching so having tons of arrows was always important. Good nostalgia.
I can't believe they thought just being thrown 100 blocks in any direction was any fun at any point.

When i start playing minecraft there was no ender dragon
I started a couple days before the nether reactor was removed
Same. I started playing around Beta 1.6-1.7, so before the Adventure Update (that means no End, no hunger system, no XP, no ravines and dark lighting).
I remember playing on XBox 360, all I could do was get dogs and play creative I had a hunger bar but no end I think? It took ages for me to work out how to sync my XBox to WiFi and then for a month all I did was kill the endear dragon in creative and gear up like I was doing it in survival 😂
I remember when the nether was added. Been a long time, lot's of nostalgia in these kinds if videos. Red beds, most fragile boats, worst textured lava, crunching sounds when fall damage happens, no sprint, it just goes on and on.

You should do a 2020 video at the end of the year with you beating Minecraft in all versions.
perhaps more of a series than a single video would be better, since there are 14 versions he hasn't beat yet, and just beating minecraft in one version creates a 10-30 minute video.
When they started telling you what the enchants are, I thought it was a move to pander to small children. Enchanting was supposed to be hard and unpredictable.

@@jqydxn8941 survival-wise 1.9+ versions (especially the newer ones) are way better. Since 1.9 came out i didnt really play survival that much, but even from my few worlds i was able to realise that.
Combat-wise 1.8 is clearly superior. The combat is way better and even though 1.9 combat would be considered more "strategical" 1.8 combat makes the player feel much more comfortable (if you wanna call it that way).
@@thundergamer5777 yeah its better for survival but I personally like the nostalgic 1.8 / 1.7 survival. Plain and simple.
