I know the areas around these buildings have grown probably with smaller buildings but not a like major super tall skyscraper boom like a Miami, Chicago, NYC or a Philly. Cue the the people who just moved to Austin five years ago saying that they are ruining Rainey Street's history. When I moved to Austin, Rainey Street had a tow truck company and a Middle Eastern grocery store, and nothing else.
Is there even a plan for the colossal amount of traffic these buildings are going to create? It already takes me 10 minutes to get to Cesar Chavez from Just behind the Van Zandt.
