Having an explanation doesn't mean she's right though... It's refined camp. Which isn't camp. If she wanted to flip the script she could have played the ultimate straight man.. but the MET is about drama and fashion as an event. Camp is to be crazy (not exactly but you know what I mean). I love her outfit but it I think it missed the mark for the theme.

An exquisite dress, very Georgian frock coat embroidery style mashed with 60s mini style, the matching beret and bag, boa trim, but I think to go all out camp, knee length matching high heeled boots and sequinned make up on one side of her face. You could wear all those pieces separately as well.
All my respect to this woman. It must be so scary and so much pressure to get out of that car. Congrats to her and her team! She looked stunning but she is even pretiier in the inside. Thanks for sharing!
