Orlando’s urban center totally needs to continue to focus on well paying jobs (beyond service industry) and family centric activities within the city itself. The population surge makes it imperative. Don’t get me wrong the theme parks, stadium and natural features makes Orlando interesting as it is. But the city needs to be a stronger beacon to its identity. Not just the fact that it’s the city near Disney World and Universal Studios!
Orlando can be the next Austin but just much better lol. We have Disney sea world universal we even have Gatorland lol I want everyone to enjoy and experience what Orlando has to offer.
It’s true. There’s so much culture here with art and music. We need to really lean into that. Downtown needs to have places for families during the day but I still thing we need iconic clubs at night. Orlando used to be one of the biggest cities for edm and I think it should stay that way. Church street needs a revamp. Sad seeing all these vacant buildings
Really enjoy all the infrastructure info you know about, particularly in the 27/429 area. Currently own a resort home in the 192W area which has changed so much in the last 10 years. Thinking by the time it becomes a full time home I’ll want to get a little further out. So great to know what the 3+ year out plans are.
Not sure if you’ll get this comment, but I was wondering if you have extra insight or have heard any update about the Orlando Urban trail extension and the connection to the Cady Way trail?
Another great show. The city needs to relocate the executive airport. It serves no purpose. Any new restaurants and commercial development in Winter Garden? Any new waterfront restaurants coming to the area?
Prices may go up but only a certain amount of buyers available. People will try to move to smaller towns to afford houses .only Cali or north east aee going to be able to buy it few here.when houses are way higher than income levels the math will not add up.. imbalance. It's the Northerners that are keeping the market up.
A school called Eagles Nest Elementary in MetroWest has 7 teacher job openings . All the classes in 4th grade has all substitute teachers. Nobody wants to teach there. How many homes do you sell in Metro West?

I will never ever work in downtown Orlando or go out at night. Companies need to open business centers in Winter Garden since so many professional and educated people live in Winter Garden. Downtown Orlando is very unsafe and lacks culture. There are no museums or art work or major department stores. I lived in West Palm Beach and they have far more to offer than Orlando
Im a huge fan of yours but I think what she meant by “less desirable area in terms of residential spaces” when speaking about Parramore and Westmoreland is historically black neighborhoods, god she even called them “tarp cities”. Really came off as ignorant. Show some respect to these people who are getting gentrified out of their homes into an unaffordable market. These neighborhoods had been given a raw deal since the inception of Orlando from the destruction of Parramore to build I-4 and the 408 disconnecting these black neighborhoods from downtown, hell the department of transportation even went as far as encircling Griffin Park! This is the perfect example of systemic racism.
They have those people in LA that approach and talk to homeless people. It’s done nothing. In fact, homelessness has become worse. It was a waste of tax payer money
