I never thought one could make fun of Rossini in such a way! This is more like a parody than an actual performance. She's a natural comedienne - and a really good singer at the same time.
I am so glad she enetered Eurovision, so I could discover her. How could you not adore this woman.
Can't say enough about this lovely singer. She has unlimited talent. A beautiful person both inside and out. And such a lovely sense of 'what's right' and humour.
This is the BEST Rosina I have ever heard.
I put this video playing in the car with my father .... and he at the middle told me " i dont know but i start to cry listening to this music" and i look at him already crying and told him " yess im also crying" . Beautifull moment :,) music is everything 😊

Never in a million years could I imagine opera to be this laid back. Thanks to Malena and the maestro for being so flexible! They performed before Silvia and Carl (Swedish royals) after all. And I think I have a crush on Malena.

Habe mich immer schon gefragt, warum Rosina meist ziemlich unbeschwert-lustig dargestellt wird, obwohl sie doch grausam eingesperrt leben muss.
Die Wut, der Zynismus und das Durchtriebene von Ernmans Interpretation erscheinen da psychologisch deutlich stimmiger!

@3guerras Actually, for the past week, she's been rehearsing Serse at an opera house in Vienna, and there have been no amplification involved. And her voice rang throughout the entire opera house.

Der zunächst etwas albern anmutende Sturz dürfte ein Anspielung auf die Premiere im Jahr 1816 sein, bei der ein Sänger auf offener Bühne über eine Luke stolperte. Rossini wurde dabei ausgepfiffen. Aber dann wurde "Der Barbier" für über 200 Jahre eine der beliebtesten "Opera buffa". Die verdient die künstlerische Höchstleistung einer Melana Ernman.

There is too a high E! It's the short top note at 3:48. Apart from that one note, you are right, the highest one is B natural.
