The weekday cartoon Line ups are the best because it's the best part of growing up in the 80s. You get out of school and come home and turn the TV on. It just takes you back to your childhood. When you weren't told to go outside and play you sat in front of the TV. These are better than the Saturday morning ones to me.
@@MoneMedia What about Ducktales? Smurfs, Rescue rangers? Also in the 80s in the afternoons they had sitcoms like Small Wonder, The Jeffersons, All In the Family, The Brady Bunch. During the late 80s I remember watching The Cosby show at 4pm locally once it hit syndication.
Wow watching My Little Pony and friends, The Smurfs, GI Joe, The Transformers,Jem , The Real Ghostbusters brings back memories of our childhood days. Also The Disney Afternoon has so many good shows like Duck Tales, Dark Wing Duck, Disney's Gummy Bears, Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers, Goof Troop, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid,The Lion King' s Timon and Pumba.
yes beginning in 1990 the disney afternoon was truly a heavenly treasure bringing the ebst of the classics like ducktales 1986 the gummi bears 1987 chip n dale rescue rangers 1989 and the premier of TALESPIN in 1990 and DW in 91 goof troop in 92 and bonkers in 93 many great memories even marsupilami miss that adorable lil one and Disney adventures magazine i miss it the most it had comics of all the shows too some of the biggest influences of me becoming an artists was all thanks to a blue gummi bear Gusto Gummi aka rob paulsen.
Netflix She-Ra can't hold a candle to the original She-Ra. Also, I liked The Real Ghostbusters more than Filmation Ghostbusters, but I still watched it after school everyday. EDIT: shame that Thunder Cats and Silver Hawks couldn't be shown; I loved those shows back in the day.
If I wanted to watch Filmation GB, I had to get up at like 6 am on a school day and try and get our antenna to pick up UHF Fox, which would sort of come in. I really liked that cartoon.
You know part of what killed Saturday Morning Cartoons was the FCC and others didn’t like the idea of kids being influenced by the commercials but honestly I think many networks did a good job using the platform for public service announcements like with the Bearinstein Bears at the beginning of the video
Looks like an awesome lineup. Definitely gonna carve out some time to watch it tonight. This might be the coolest channel on the planet Earth. Many thanks man!!!
the thundercats commercial advertised after the thundercats show credits looks pretty cool, though i dont know about calling it a mutant fist pounder lol
Thanks for the weekday cartoons Mr mone media! Is there more of Saturday morning/weekday cartoons of 1989 to 1995 coming up soon after this? That will be great! Peace out man!
As i was watching this i thought how it'd be cool to watch these with friends from back then and just remember those days as they bring up flashbacks of times long ago, then realized some of them are not with us anymore. Got me thinking, imagine when some years in the future we get to a point where there will be one last person alive that can say i watched this live as a kid from the 80's. Can't imagine the nostalgia yet drab feeling of knowing he or she will be the last. Even though people will still be able to watch them thanks to services like youtube and channels like these, times change and evolve but naturaly having experienced this when it was a sort of discipline for all of us that were kids in the 80's is something that might never happen again. Thanks for the memories.
I just found the channel and I'm already bingewatching this stuff. Right now, I'm enjoying tracking the voices across programs, the same person who has a voice here in Ghostbusters plays Skeletor in Heman. You could do similar tracks across Disney shows of the '80's. Thanks for doing all the hard work to edit and upload these. As well as clearing up the audio-video quality, I'm sure. Excellent job, Mone!!
this brings back memories of both channel 22 ktzz back in the early 80's it showed these very same shows and lots of anime ones too this is so awesomes happy memories super thank you
Totally! One of my favs too! Still incredible how he's able to get these. I have a few Kids WBs and stuff on tapes, but THIS is outstanding work! Him and others like him never cease to amaze how they can collect these fine old shows and commercials.
Bro. First and foremost thanks for all of these childhood memories. I sit and watch these alongside my kids bragging about how much better our cartoons were, and how they'd love the 80's 😂 but, the opening to this tripped me out because I remember it as the "Berenstein Bears" and to see it from an original airing from 86 was mind blowing, the Mandela effect is real 😮 lol wow. Anyway keep'em coming. I was 10 in 86 so this is nostalgic as hell and a great experience to share with my lil ones. Thanks.
This was where I watched my Thundercats and Silverhawks. WUAB 43 had Transformers and GI Joe, and after that I switched over to watch Thundercats and Silverhawk.
The ORIGINAL Filmation Ghostbusters is underrated. It's a shame the more popular Ghostbusters shares it's name. I clearly remember this lineup on TV as a child in the 80s
@@MoneMedia Most of the Filmation artists were ex-Disney, Warner Bros. etc. so despite the heavily recycled animation, the character designs were great My teacher got his 1st gigs with them. Did you ever see the live action version?
Thought I grew up a poor kid with few toys, then seeing these commercials reminded me of how much I had. Lucky I had great parents, guess I was just a dumb kid that wanted every toy from every commercial.😂
Why did you play with my emotions by not showing Thundercats and Silver Hawks? You had my hopes all up when the intros came on then the next thing you know, the outro is on😭😭😭. Cruel just cruel.
Someday in the future, they will sing songs of the work you do for us nostalgic addicts.
thanks Jeff
Stuck indoors due to this crazy winter storm that hit, and you just made things better. Thanks!
oh wow, Ive been hearing about a snow storm. I guess it skipped Wisconsin. Thank God
@@MoneMedia I'm in Texas and last night with the wind chill it was 20 below 0. It's 3-6 inches of snow and a whole lot of ice.
@@MoneMedia hit us here in NM. Mostly melted off, but good 4 to 5 inches
@@MrStayOnTop5683 oh wow in Texas? 20 below plus 6 inches wow, yall got some Minnesota weather🥶

41 years old the Toys R Us commerical still hits me the same like it did 30-35 years ago and not to mention so many great commercials.... Great upload
In the 80s soon as the school bell would ring at the end of the day all of the kids would immediately start running 🏃🏿♂️ 🏃🏾♀️ 🏃🏿 to watch cartoons…

Here in the Flint Market, we had The Cosby Show, something else, then Little House on the Prairie at 4pm.
@@jeffreyd399 I can't do any Disney toons😮💨So Disney afternoon is out the question. im working on sitcoms as of right now I cant do different strokes
