19 mins in: Even though Xolaani is the betrayer of the Darkin, we DEFINITELY don't want her to succeed with anything. Xolaani want's to blood bend the entire world into a singular zerg hivemind to eliminate war and suffering. After all, that's clearly the logical end conclusion for a healer. Aatrox will end the world through utter devastation, Xolaani will end the world through assimilation. Both of them hate each other, and if/when they start fighting each other, that conflict might just end the world on it's own. In Legends of Runeterra, Kayle and her mother (Aspect of Justice) have to come down from the heavens with a celestial army to 'try' to stop them from fighting each other. So no we don't want anything to do with Xolaani. 20 mins in: There is a card called 'Star bone.' When you play it, all the celestial puppers get stronger. That could be funny as a raid. 46 mins in: Veigar was tortured by Morde for his Yordly secrets, and in so doing Veigar now believes himself to be evil. Its... debateabe how good at being evil Veigar actually is. Think less dark evil and more looney toons or disney (Dr. Doofenshmirtz?) villain. The problem though is that Veigar is the most powerful yordle that we know about in terms of sheer magical strength. So even if Veigar isn't very good at being bad, even his poor attempts to harm the good guys (us) is still extremely threatening. Why would we fight him? Because that be E V I L(emons) for him to do, so he would do it to prove he's evil stop laughing at him. Leblanc IS NOT a good guy. She's an ancient witch who banished Morde because... he was killing everyone he could. It doesn't take much moral high ground to remove such a threat. She would happily use all his black magic for his own ends. On an alignment chart, Morde would be Chaotic Evil, Leblanc would be Nuetral Evil, and Swain would be likely Lawful Evil or Lawful Nuetral. Heck, Leblanc is currently mind controlling people all over the world for her own suspicious ends. So yeah. Honestly, despite what Necrit says, it's very unlikely we'd ever actually 'fight' Leblanc. She's a shadowy background manipulator. At most we might face one of her clones. It wouldn't be so out of left field for this chain of events: Mordekaiser is resurrecting himself. Leblanc is ALLOWING this resurrection and wants it to happen so she can steal/use/bind/etc his power for herself, just like those foolish cultists all those years ago. We the good guys need to put a stop to both of them. Just as an idea. 1hr in: Yep he did kinda just pick the obvious ones... was that a problem? And he did mention that there is so much content League has that Riot can choose a bunch or none of his settings lol. "Why don't we fight Gangplank?" - We did in the Ruined King game... actually it might still be fine. GP's whole schtick is that he doesn't stay dead. The god Nagakaborous deemed him worthy of living for sheer force of will. "Why don't we fight Yorick?" - He's a good guy we don't wan to fight him.
AND calls him a villain. You might see he was transforming parts of himself and be able to predict that to continue, but he's not a villain in the show (SPOILERS: technically I don't think he's a villain in the lore either, he's just trying to help people who are dying by evolving them to withstand how crappy Zaun is, also building Blitzcrank because he can. It's the cult he definitely didn't start yet who worships him as a savior who from what I remember are the ones who do evil things.)
Necrit comes from LoL and its Lore not from Arcane. So the Spoiler thing was to not spoiler what is in Acane, not to not spoiler what is partly since years in the Lore.
Arcane dosent take the league lore 1 to 1 so showing that wouldent be any spoiler becouse we dont know for certain what they gonna do with Victor yet and based on the last few scenes with Victor they could go either way. Jayce is a perfect example as in the league lore he is super arrogant and selfish becouse no1 can keep up with him as he is a far superior scientist and inventor then most of the ppl hes working with and he thinks they are just slowing him down. In Arcane that is not true atall.
46:40 Leblanc and Veigar, according to himself at least, are not good people. LeBlanc is an extremely evil sorceress, so depending how the raid plays out, it makes sense to fight her (probably not kill her though). Veigar being a boss is a little iffy, but I could see that fight since he probably wouldn’t let a chance go by to get revenge himself, and I couldn’t see Veigar ally up with people for help. But, I do agree that its really iffy for him in particular. LeBlanc though, I can totally see as a possible boss, I mean could you trust someone whose title is literally “The Deciever”?
I could see a world where maybe theres a questline following swain to help them root out the black rose cult and defeat leblanc as a boss (maybe like a 4 party boss not a big 8 or 16 party) and this questline is a pre-req to unlocked the zone where she banished mordekaiser. Maybe later down the line we learn morde is resurecting and since we previously defeated leblanc and the black rose, we simply fight through his armies to reach him with swain and darius to fight him in an 8 or 16 party raid. (Just me throwing out ideas)
While a lot of those raids would be really cool, we don't even know when the game is set in-univesre. It could be set during the Rune Wars for all we know (which both makes sense and also would suck because there are very few champions that old for us to meet). I think 100% the very first raid you unlock will be Mordekaiser (If we look at Diablo, it would be the same as Leoric imo, a mad tyrant king that is resurrected and we have to put back down). He's in like every era of the known universe barring the creation of the world, can't die for good, and can be a pretty good introduction to raiding with his raid actually being in a hub city, and his powers being somewhat known (Necromancer, so supporting wraiths makes sense. Slow attacks but a lot of damage if you're hit, is a juggernaut so it makes sense for him to have massive health or really high resistances). If we assume Necrit is correct about the starting locations being Noxus/Demacia/Freljord, He also is in the starting continent. He just screams "I'm the tutorial raidboss" to me, idk. That said, if it gets set in present time like how Necrit is assuming here (to be fair to him he had to put limitations on what he showed or else we'd be here for 12 hours), there is one massive story arc or raid that would be cool imo. The story starts with finding Ryze (If you forget who that is, he's the main character in The Call Of Power, purple mage guy with beard). He is searching for the last of the World Runes (the one that is missing in Call of Power's cinematic). With as much handwaving as needed, during conversation or because of another reason, Ryze shows you, through his powers, what the Rune Wars were like. The raid starts in there, fighting more and more powerful mages while Ryze narrates, up until the final boss, Tyrus of Helia, Ryze's mentor who secretly came into possession of not one World Rune but two of them. If that can't work as a raid, I would love an expansion that doesn't give a new map location, but a new time so we can play in some of the iconic times of the world (Rune Wars of course, The Watchers in the Freljord, The War of the Void/Icathia V. Shurima, even The Invasion of Ionia or some of the historical campaigns of Noxus). Now I know he's banished, but what about a Demon raid like Fossbarrow and Nocturne (Fossbarrow was mentioned as a place in the Fiddlesticks cinematic/teaser, it was attributed to mages but was instead Nocturne's doing). You literally fight nightmares and unnatural darkness that threatens to swallow you whole. Maybe it does swallow you whole and you have to break out. Final boss obviously is Nocturne, but this could be generalized more into demons as a whole. Like fighting Azakana in Ionia only for a greater demon to show up. Maybe Riot was saving writing Shaco Lore because they are using him instead. I think Fiddlesticks is too powerful for us to convincingly beat, so a raid like that would more likely be indirectly stopping Fid. That is why I am advocating for Nocturne because he can create nightmares to trap us in, while Fid can only really create Terror through the crows and its effigies. Fid will just straight-up spider gallop at us to kill us in one hit, while Nocturne wants to feed off your nightmares first, giving you some time. Another one that was barely mentioned was a raid into The Void. We know that you can breathe in it (the Bel'Veth cinematic at least shows us that Kai'Sa can) and we know that there are secret rifts everywhere. Imagine fighting off hordes of voidlings being sent by The Prophet Malzahar, or even protecting him while he summons a great voidborn creature (I would say Cho'Gath, but Necrit has a point of not fighting champions that could die). Or maybe take a page from D&D's Descent Into Avernus, and in a small village (doubtful they'd make it a city) a void rift opens up, swallowing it whole so now you have to save the town from the void creatures that are zerg-rushing it. Maybe both. Malzahar prophesied that The Void would consume the town, and he somehow created the rift that eats the town up, now you have to protect the town as they try to evacuate or something. Heck, what about using already established lore (The Call cinematic) and have that raid on the Ursine with Sejuani and Olaf? You meet Ornn as he is making weapons and talks about needing them for a fight that is to come (part of his lore is that he stopped making weapons and armor after Voli and his followers murdered Ornn's followers with his own weapons, saying he would only make them again if the world was gonna die), so it foreshadows The Watchers or whatever. You're there to ask about one of his items Ornn's Cauldron or Ornn's Goblet I forget which, and he says the Ursine took it, but there's a group of warriors getting ready to take it back if we wanted to join up. Then we get to be part of The Call cinematic, or we come in just after it ends and the raid of the base starts. You fight shamans that get progressively more twisted until you fight Volibear's avatar/speaker while The Winters Claw fight off more of the Ursine.
We kinda do know when the game is because they said Legends of Runeterra is a great help and inspiration for the MMO. And Runeterra is all about the present of Runeterra and improving the world foward. So it'll be set after the ruination. Maybe during the darkin saga? Or after since the game will not come out soon so they'll probably have more stories to tell us before the MMO. It would also feed the other games perfectly. Imagine they create a cool new NPC they can add to the card game later on! Or a character so cool they make it a champion in league! If the story was in the past it would be impossible to do that.
To answer your question on why we would fight Viegar & Leblanc is really simple. Number 1: They both are villains in league of legends and then viegar worships Mordekisar and even tries to be like him and wants to be him. So if Mordekisar ever returned viegar would be on his side. As for Leblanc she's the leader of the evil cult known as the black rose. She fears Mordekisar and is afraid that if he ever returns he would ruin her evil plans. So she wants him to stay dead and gone. She protects his armor at all costs fearing that someone could use them to bring him back to life. But with that said she also has plans to bring him back to life but under her control but as of yet hasn't found a way to do that just yet.
Hm, fair and valid points and opinions, I never thought about it, but yeah I guess it would be best to have the Bosses come at later dates in a MMO, have something that the Players can look forward to, after the MMO’s release.
Hmm and thanks to the last raid here we have a reason to get to the top of targon. We need aurelion's power to deal with belveth. It would be a nice connection to raids
Hello there Its my honored. So far thank you and all of new comers in this fantasy world. As the League of legends = Runeterra lore lover i am glad you become one of new fans. As someone who has some inside infos Arcane season 2 will come maybe in 2024/25 and they allready started working on other series from other regions. May the force be with you. And may you lead the force. 🖐️ Ps Ehm also someone has allready seen first episode and its great but you know they still need more time to make visual perfect. ;)
1:07:00 I liked that point way more than I thought actually. If you think about it, most of the villains are either multiple in numbers or just unable to die. The Watchers are infinite and so is the Void, the celestials being would not be destroy by us mortal and let's not talk about Gangplank's plot armor of never dying. And if we continue we have Viego who will keep getting banished + is an undead that will not die. Mordekaiser literally died twice, even if we kill him in 3different raids he will still comeback somehow. Aatrox is literally immortal as long as someone pick up the blade he will be back AND can become bigger and bigger. And let's not forget about Fiddlesticks who's using only a vessel and can probably easily have another form for multiple raids.
19:00 i would hate to have Astro’s as a local god. I had the sick idea that since in lore aatrox roams all over runterra to bring oblivion right now. It would be sick to accually have him roaming different places in the mmo. And if your close younstart hearing his boss music, and him yelling voice lines in the far. And then he should have a aura surrounding him. Which is his Aggro leash range. If you enter the aura zone, he starts moving towards everyone who entered the zone and starts fighting. But you have like 10 seconds or 30 some short amount of time to escape the zone, and drop his Agro. If you don’t manage to, you are caught in the fight and need to fight him till death. also the moment anyone attacks Aatrox they also are caught in the fight and cant escape it. beisde from that everyone in the area should be able to join the fight, but they can ristrict the amount of players that can fight at the same fight. until no one from outside can join anymore And the. Throughput a different darkin raid, like the one necrit made up, players can earn an artifact that shows you aatrox current location. So if you earned it you can fight him. This arfefact could also be, you as a player getting enchanced by the sun disc, since other darling and god warriors can hear each others call.
Necrit him self said that the Watchers Raid would be the last one before Riot had to invent new lore in exclusive to the MMO. Normally Raid are end of game content, so they have to be the stronger. Of course, has you level up you will have lots of stories and bosses, dungeons and instances were to know and fight the "weaker" bad guys. And what if I wanted to be a bad guy??
This isnt my first run in with veigos lore there pal. Theres no "if he was lame" ..lmao. Your entire rant is an opinion, and guess what. People can have different opinions...wowww ...do you always go into this much of an emotional defensive tangent every time someone expresses an opinion that isnt in agreement with yours? Or just when someone judges judges the mega simp that is Viego. News Flash. This video contains opinions. *Viego is lame deal with it* Emotionally fragile fans beware!
Veigar because he gone crazy after that and is dark lord now so likely he will join his cause. LeBlanc because she si one of few or only one who know about his armor.
For some reason people, who reacted to this video, think that Necrit propose these raids to be at the beginning of the game. That's not what he's doing. Necrit just wanted to show cool settings for big and epic raids, but he never said that MMO should start with them. Obviously, Targon or the Watchers shouldn't be in the Vanilla version of the game.
If you're subtly suggesting this is what we're doing - we're not - I don't think he just 'wanted to show cool settings' either...he primarily talked about the boss first which is what the video is mainly about, and then complemented it with a scenario(setting) out of his head - using lore etc. additional info/thoughts but not the main focus. I never said that he said they should be at the beginning, nor did he say they should be at the end.. nor did he refer to any timeline they should be on - I'm additionally giving my thoughts on where they should be based on the characters he did decide to discuss and my experience with mmo's I'm not sure anything is obvious really...people will make bold assumptions based on incomplete information or based on other games...we have no idea what timeline the game will be focus on.
The watchers Unless its their Transformed version where they take a mortal form shouldn't even be in the game....The idea that some being that get bothered by reality annoying them cuz its like a lil light that annoys them and disturbes their sleep is a boss in the game it's not a good idea.
@@6PathsGohan No I meant When You succeed on Reaching Targon prime then have a great reward. Which I hope that making the difficulty of the Climb 1% chance of success cause in lore 1 in a million are to climb and succeed to be chosen by an Celestial Aspect. That is the whole purpose of Mount Targon testing mortals for they will become worthy Vessels for the gods.
"Which I hope that making the difficulty of the Climb 1% chance of success" hah...as much as that's all lore correct and all - this would NOT translate to a fun gaming experience. A lot of hardcore league lore fans are going to be disappointed imo - when the mmo doesn't translate 100% in areas they want it to.
I get what you're saying but i feel more than 95% confident that the decision will always come down to how much we (the devs) are going to cater to hardcore players or casuals and where does this raid even fit in in the lore - i absolutely get that targon would be a huge end game thing - but 1% ....eh...lets try maybe 10%. ...at a million + players this is only 100,000 players - across how many servers. You'd still not run into many players that have completed it. ..so...I get your approach - I'd just say, loosen it up a bit. if something is so hardcore it gatekeeps a majority of the player base - trust you me - the devs will hear ALL the whining. Happens in every game. every time.

If you enter the aura zone, he starts moving towards everyone who entered the zone and starts fighting. But you have like 10 seconds or 30 some short amount of time to escape the zone, and drop his Agro. If you don’t manage to, you are caught in the fight and need to fight him till death.
also the moment anyone attacks Aatrox they also are caught in the fight and cant escape it.
beisde from that everyone in the area should be able to join the fight, but they can ristrict the amount of players that can fight at the same fight.
until no one from outside can join anymore
And the. Throughput a different darkin raid, like the one necrit made up, players can earn an artifact that shows you aatrox current location. So if you earned it you can fight him.
This arfefact could also be, you as a player getting enchanced by the sun disc, since other darling and god warriors can hear each others call.
There’s Two MMO Videos from Necrit left now, unless you count the Interview, will you do them too at some point?
Mmm....Yes. just coming back to things after a month or so..will be a lot of content coming soon!
@@donmowatt I see, will look forward to it.
Xolaani lore is so good damn she is back 🥰🥰🥰
Viego story is not lame its actually so good
opinions are wild aren't they .. 🤯
This isnt my first run in with veigos lore there pal.
Theres no "if he was lame" ..lmao. Your entire rant is an opinion, and guess what. People can have different opinions...wowww
...do you always go into this much of an emotional defensive tangent every time someone expresses an opinion that isnt in agreement with yours? Or just when someone judges judges the mega simp that is Viego.
News Flash. This video contains opinions. *Viego is lame deal with it* Emotionally fragile fans beware!
Cam you also check out legendary loot of riot's mmo according to lore by necrit
Veigar because he gone crazy after that and is dark lord now so likely he will join his cause. LeBlanc because she si one of few or only one who know about his armor.
Even though Mordekaiser have tortured him, Veigar think of Mordekaiser like his master and would do anything for him.
I never said that he said they should be at the beginning, nor did he say they should be at the end.. nor did he refer to any timeline they should be on - I'm additionally giving my thoughts on where they should be based on the characters he did decide to discuss and my experience with mmo's
I'm not sure anything is obvious really...people will make bold assumptions based on incomplete information or based on other games...we have no idea what timeline the game will be focus on.
The watchers Unless its their Transformed version where they take a mortal form shouldn't even be in the game....The idea that some being that get bothered by reality annoying them cuz its like a lil light that annoys them and disturbes their sleep is a boss in the game it's not a good idea.

Victor
Yes the Victor we knew in arcane jayce BFF
Raid boss 🥰🥰
The Climb of Mount Targon Might be like the Sword Art Online raid.
Fighting all the aspects to free ASol who you then have to stop from destroying Runeterra
"Which I hope that making the difficulty of the Climb 1% chance of success"
hah...as much as that's all lore correct and all - this would NOT translate to a fun gaming experience. A lot of hardcore league lore fans are going to be disappointed imo - when the mmo doesn't translate 100% in areas they want it to.
@@donmowatt Well that is why the reward would be really worth it.
Happens in every game. every time.
