- My Friendly Neighborhood just recieved an update which unlocks a new challenge mode called Neighborhorde. This is a playthrough of that mode and a look at some the stages and enemies included.

I like the music of the game too. It keeps you in suspense and it reminds me of an epic battle.
I like that they make you unlock the levels. Adds a bit of incentive to not only play horde mode, but complete the level as well.
There is a reward to the players who get an S rank in all 4 levels and have all 4 characters have S as the highest rank they have ever achieved. It is a VERY OP item. Even on unfriendly difficulty.

Like how much this game is adding on to its already amazing story mode. When I saw the giant puppets, those caught me by surprise. I thought those things only existed in the underground part of the studio. The Unfriendly Neighborhood. Either way, I like what this game is doing
these vids are perfect for someone like me who can't always afford to buy new games or dlc I still get to enjoy and appreciate them this way...hell I'm still rocking my ps4 😂

Okay so it turns out that despite their size, the giant unfriendly neighbors have the same hitbox as their smaller brethern.
In other words, aim for the legs!

Im annoyed that he doesnt seem to realize that the item despensed is at the bottom. I wonder if it was moved to the top it would be more obvious as to what each thing is...

It also took him way too long to realize that each dispenser gave the same item over and over again. You'd think he'd notice after getting four candy bars in a row.

@@Unstopabledoggos I imagine them unfortunately being more akin to the unfriendly neighborhood, having lost what made them funny, with more violence in its place, not bloody mind...actually this may be a bad idea.
I liked how in the end scene it was golden Freddy’s spirit standing there watching him suffer as we know Cassidy enjoyed watching afton suffer.
Hey Mike! Awesome video as always, had a rather slow shift at work and this lightened up the rest of my evening! I played around with the game mode and was able to rack up some pretty high scores, so maybe these tips will be helpful to you and other players:
S rank is anything above 40,000 or so at least each time I got 40k I was able to get S rank
If you have any of the cheats unlocked its useful to put them in the game to get more puppets to spawn or even speed!
The cheats I used while playing with my friend were:
Speedy Gordon, Fast Weapons, Long Arms (to reach the items and detect more of them in the level) and Triple Enemies to increase your score more quicker, also I am not sure if the inifnite ammo cheat works in the new mode, but I would suggest trying it out!
Camp the shotgun ammo place but have some grenades too if you feel like it, as its gonna be useful for crowd control like you mentioned. You don't really need to buy pistol ammo since the puppet pals drop so much of it anyways when they die (with the triple enemies you really can blow up like 10 puppets at once, its freaking amazing)
Occasionally seek out the targets when you can, but only do so if the area is clear
Soda makes your shots fire faster. Candy Bar makes you faster, I found it helpful to keep spamming the shotgun more than the pistol, usually camped around by the shotgun ammo places per level!
You can switch to other characters you have unlocked by using A and D when it does the toolbox screen, also Junebug is really fun to play as since shes the machine gun :o
I don't wanna spoil the other characters tho :D
Also you do get somethign for S ranking all of the characters on all four levels. So you have to play through all four, with each chr and get S rank, which is tedious but unlocks a secret after doing so!
Anyway, sorry if this is long but I really hope it helps more people out who might be stuck on how to get S ranks for the secrets!

Was it the candy bar or soda that was increasing your fire rate speed?
That seems like something you'd need to up your pistol fire rate to deal with normal hordes.
Shotgun seems more like deal with the big ones.
Grenade is crowd control (4 or more) or wipe out a big one.
it was the soda that upped the firing rate, the candy bar just made you run faster like in the base game

Huh. From the looks of it, the giant Unfriendly Neighbors' hit boxes are only in the legs. Shooting anywhere above seems to go right through. Which probably means the original hit boxes for the normal sized enemies weren't scaled up with their models.
You should use Junebug in a video, since you unlocked her.
the big guys hit boxes appear to be the most consistent if you aim for the legs
This was a cool video, the music, the pressure, the *pop* sound when you knock the puppets, I'd like to see another video of this mode.
I noticed it said "Gordon" up top, like he's not the only playable character. Junebug was another name I saw come up, could she be playable too?

I don't think this guy realize that he unlocked a new character with the most overpowered weapon.
New gamemode idea: neighbourhorde dispute: Ricky came to Gordon one day to tell him that Ray found out that the unfriendlies have found a way up and escaping and Gordon has to fight them off to push them back, but with the help from the other puppets. in this mode you only have your primary pistol because Gordon tried going in to do it himself and he dropped most of the guns when he tried to flee, but you can spend points recruiting a team of other puppets to join your calvary, and after each mission you'll have some captured puppets that you can reeducate to bring them back to the friendly side

Hey mike if you do this again, the issue is the hit box for the taller puppets is not changed it’s still lower down. Your bullets are phasing through.

My only problem with this game is how bullet sponge-y the enemies are. Even with headshots, which I'm not even sure if that does anything, you use up so much ammo on one enemy.
if you Listen to the reload sound on the pistol you'll notice it's the magazine ping from the m1 grand

I don't know if I'd count this as a horror game. It's really more of a high-stakes puzzle game if you ask me. The only part of the game that could run counter to that would be the Unfriendly Neighborhood section, but that was so short that it's barely worth the effort.
My Friendly Neighborhood is definitely my third favorite game of the year. No Contest.

You do. More time = More point, More Point = Higher level/character score. It's a shame he didn't go check out his unlocked character, Junebug would have wiped the floor in both.
There are actually multiple playable characters in this game mode.
