Japan is the center of female rock/metal bands. Try Nemophila, Band-Maid, Hanabie, Love Bites.
LONESOME BLUE is a relatively new band. up until now their music has been written by mao with lyrics by asami - both from all female japanese metal band LOVEBITES. who by the way may be the MOST epic band you have heard in some time. the guitarist in LONESOME BLUE is narumi suzuki who once played in the groundbreaking female band DESTROSE with the drummer and bassist from LOVEBITES. there are connections between many of these girl groups from japan. you really need to hear LOVEBITES though as they are one of the best live bands ever. here is a link to the song 'holy war' from 2020 in tokyo . this is one band you will not want to pass up : ua-cam.com/video/bgAxpEpEcno/v-deo.html

Great new band. It's the first song from their debut album (just out a few days ago) which is better than I expected. They make a mix between power metal and hard rock that sounds great. For the power metal side of the band, try Paralllel World, great song and a lovely video too.
You’ve never reacted to an all female metal band before? Well alright then, welcome to Japan where they have perfected this combination. Not keen on Maiko’s vocals then try Hanabie or Nemophila or maybe even Fate Gear. If there’s one thing Japan doesn’t lack it’s quality.
Others have mentioned more bands below and I urge you to explore this rabbit warren - Lonesome_Blue are a bit awesome but so are many of the others. There will be something you love in the genre.
Lonesome_Blue have a disco pop party metal track “Welcome to Secret Heavenly Base” that has layers of awesome - just when you thought you’d plumbed it’s depths you find some other interesting part buried beneath what on the surface appears to be ABBA meets Slade.

Unlike the West where there's a big gulf between female rock and pop artists, the line between a metal/rock performer and idol star is much narrower. Lonesome_Blue started when the producer approached 4 artists from very different worlds - guitarist Narumi Suzuki came from the metal world as an ex of Destrose (she was actually one of their final girls) and Disqualia, drummer MIZUKI was a session player and member of Shinkou Horou. Singer Maiko Nomura and bassist Yuki Hirose are both voice actresses (though neither have an extensive history there) and were members of Queen of Purple, a bandol sub-unit for the Tokyo 7 Sisters game franchise. Yuki was also an OG member of idol group AOP and was with them up until they disbanded after 9 years, though this part isn't mentioned much.
