One of my favorite things in BG (and all games in which you design you character in general) is to use my own portrait, in BG I remember my first days modding, replacing soundtracks with my voice, recorded with a primitive software I remember haha!
The MOST neglected character is the Gnome ! There are shamefully very little portraits available for gnomes in Icewind Dale and Baldur's Gate ! How about more respect for those little ground dwellers who make such fantastic jewelry ! Gnomes of the world cry out, in one loud voice, "we will not go quietly into the night, we will not vanish without a fight.......YARGH !!"
