The new MODEL SST40 is good, plus it has temp control that can adjust the brightness of the flashlight when exceeds to 55celsius... New models are always good.. Planning to buy this..

Does the sst40 drop voltage quicker by temperature ? and is there a difference in overall runtime of the two versions ? Thank you !!
off course sst40 drop voltage faster and runtime lesser because it is brighter so it consume more power
Do they get hot at the same time? Or is the one with sst40 gets hot faster given that it’s a higher lumen flashlight? Thanks

Big difference. U might not see the difference much in video becauss of the camera auto compensate

Yes
If your camera has a manual setting, use it, because otherwise the camera compensates for the different brightnesses, and they all end up looking the same.
It has manual setting but the is not easy to use the manual setting or it can make the flashlight extremely bright or extremely dark

При первом включении с высокотоковым аккумом Samsung 18650-30Q 3000mAh фонарь перешел в минимальный режим и не переключает режимы вообще. Замена аккума на другой фирмы проблему не устранил. Брак или нельзя высокотоковый аккум? Фонарь S2+ SST40. Спасибо

i notice something in ur led. It has a glow gasket around its reflector? Is that it?? Those it glow my friend?? Cause i see in the online shop u have an option of having a GLOW GASKET around its reflector. So urs has a Glow Gasket around it or not?
Yes it has. Convoy flashlight has a glow in the dark o-ring
How does the s2+ sst40 compare to the wowtac a6?
Im not sure because I dont have wowtac a6
S2+ SST40 is nice but does not have USB and I need it. Is there a model with the same side light angle as S2+ but with the USB?
All S2+ doen't have usb. Try search sofirn sc31 pro. It has usb

Want to buy my first S2+, and still can't decide between 5000k & 6500k
Depend on own preferences
4000-4500 and no way higher than 5k. Higher is too blue, glares a lot and illuminates less..
Emitter die size. The 20 is a lot smaller and throwier, but less luminous.

Kalau utk ketegori budget la (harga bawah rm100)
1. Sofirn sc31 pro sst40, 2000 lumens
2. Convoy s2+ sst40, 1800 lumens
3. BLF A6 xp-l, 1600 lumens
Kalau harga lebih dari rm100 sy kurang pasti tapi memang byk contohnya yg jenama olight, nitecore dll lagi. Tidak semestinya yg mahal lebih terang. Ada byk yg mahal cuma 1000 lumens saja. Cuma yg mahal ni dorang focus kualiti dan premium feel
