  • What happens when Christians sin willfully after they are saved? Do they lose their salvation? Why do I still struggle with sin even though I am a christian? Will God Forgive Me for Adultery? If you ever wrestled with these questions or have had doubt about your salvation and wonder, am I still saved? Then I would encourage to listen to this amazing answer Andrew Farley gives to a caller on his radio station. I hope your enjoy...
    How to get to heaven...
    1. Have you ever told one lie? Then you are a sinner and have missed the mark of sinless perfection. Therefore, the wage you will receive for your sin is spiritual death in the lake of fire. (See Rom 3:23, Rom 6:23, 1 John 1:8, Rev 20:15)
    2. To go to heaven, you have to be perfect. One sin and you can’t get in. Salvation is a free gift. There is nothing you can do to earn it. No amount of good works going such as going to church, keeping the commandments, turning from sin and living a good life will save you. Without the righteousness of Christ you will not go to heaven. So how do you get there? (See Rev 21:27, Matt 5:48, Eph 2:8-9, Rom 3:20, Rom 4:5, Titus 3:5, Gal 2:16)
    3. God, in His love and mercy, made a way possible. To show you how much He loves you, God the father sent His Son Jesus Christ to be sin for you and die in your place, paying your sin debt in full, so you wouldn’t have to. Because Jesus Christ is God, He is the only one qualified to take away all your sin. Jesus Christ shed His precious blood for you at Calvary when He died on the cross for your sins. All your sins (past, present and future) were placed on Him. He was buried, signifying that all your sins are put away, never to be remembered again. Three days later He rose again from the dead. He then appeared to the twelve disciples and then to over 500 people at once. Later he ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of God. All of this proved that God the father was satisfied with His payment for your sin. He is coming back one day! (See Rom 5:8, Isa 53:6, 2 Cor 5:21, 1 Pet 2:24, 1 Cor 15:1-4, Rom 4:25, Col 2:13-14, Col 1:14)
    4. The one and only thing you must do to be saved is believe in Jesus Christ, that He shed his blood for you by dying on the cross for all your sins (past, present and future) and that He was buried and three days later he rose from the dead. (See John 1:12, John 3:16, John 5:24, John 6:28-29, John 6:47, Acts 13:39, Acts 16:30-31, Rom 4:5, Rom 5:1)
    5. Once you believe in Jesus Christ, the Bible says He gives you everlasting life. You cannot lose something that last forever. If you could, it would not be eternal. Therefore, nothing you ever do can or will separate you from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus. You are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise until the day of redemption. This is how you can know you are saved, because the object of your faith is Jesus Christ, not yourself, and He cannot lie (See 1 John 5:13, Titus 1:2, John 5:24, John 6:37-40, John 6:47, John 10:28-29, Rom 8:38-39, Eph 1:13-14, Eph 4:30, Psa 37:28, 1 Pet 1:5, 1 Cor 1:7-8, Jude 1:1)
Will you trust in Christ today? If you have questions or doubts about your faith or salvation and you don’t have anyone to talk to, I would love to discuss these matters with you. Please e-mail me at Holdfast561@gmail.com with your name and question and we can talk over the internet via google hangout.

Hi Santosh Lama, sin is ugly and God detest it. He hates it so much that He sent His Son Jesus Christ to die a horrible death as a payment for ALL (past present future) of your sin. He did this, so YOU could be with him one day. He was buried and then three days late he rose from the dead. He appeared unto over 500 people at once and then ascended into heaven. All he ask you to do is believe He did this for YOU and to place YOUR trust in Him ALONE as YOUR personal saviour. God laid that sin of adultery on Jesus Christ. He paid for it brother. It's all done. How do I know? He rose from the grave. IT IS FINISHED!
Act 13:38 Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:
Act 13:39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
I will link you to a great, great video that led me to Christ. I hope you watch it in it's entirety. It starts a little slow, but stick with it...

Thank you for sharing this brother. I’ve had such a difficult time in my marriage. I felt like the worst husband/man in the world. I could barley look at my self in the mirror and kept thinking how can I be forgiven. Finally understand that the death of Christ really changed everything for me. Truly I can say without his grace I would have a first class ticket to hell. I’m addicted to my sins and no matter what I do I always find my self back to what I shouldn’t do. This burden felt so heavy, I asked our Lord to carry it for me and to be with me every step of the way. I want to be a better man, a better son of God and of course a Husband that can lead my family to Christ.

Hi Vigo, that's great you want to he used by the Lord. Dont beat yourself up over the past. I know it's hard to forget. I've done mant horrible things I am unashamed of. But when Jesus died for your sins, it was for ALL of them....past present and future. He was buried, but he rose again the third day. You must believe He did this for you and then you must trust in Him alone as your saviour. The moment you do, God gives you eternal life which you can never lose. This is the good news of the Gospel. @@retrobossfights I will bro. When you truly understand that God doesnt love you based upon your performance and that He loves you unconditionally, it really transforms your life. It's because of His abundant grace that we want to go out and share the good news of the Gospel. Not to be saved or prove our salvation, but to show others how wonderful Jesus Christ is. This is what Paul talks about when he says ...
      Titus 2:11-12 KJV
      For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, [12] Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
      Grace teaches us...
When you sin and it bothers you, that is God's way of convicting you of your sin. When you fall down. Remember you fall into grace, not out of it. Pick yourself back up, and keep praying and trusting in Jesus to clean you up. Keep your eyes always fixed on Jesus Christ. When you fall again, repeat the process and remind yourself of who you are in Christ. Paul says it this way...
      2 Corinthians 10:5 KJV
      Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
I struggled with alcohol a good portion of my life. It wasnt until last year I gained victory for 6 months then relapsed. I am now clean again, going on 5 more months. There were many days where I messed up, but I just kept plugging along and trusting that Jesus would give me victory and He has. I just want you to know there is hope, I believe you can overcome your struggles as long as you let Jesus take over. Take it day by day....

God is not a fool and neither is James. James reasonably rejects such a literal and self serving Bible interpretation that posits the notion that a fair, just, omnipotent God will grant a lifetime foregiveness pass, merely for the asking, to any self-professed believer to willfully repeat his sin indefinitely and without repentance or consequence. Are we to believe that this God makes no distinction between those who do their best to live by His Word and those who scam the Lord by requesting a one-and-done, unconditional, lifetime, blanket pass to sin at will with God's tacit endorsement? James holds the high ground in this discussion and was unfairly bullied and dismissed. I don't believe God is with you on this one.

I don’t know why it’s so hard for people to understand the GOSPEL!!!! They continue to add some form of work on their end!!! They think if they are willing and committed and surrendered and they cut down the percentage and amount of sin and type of sin that that somehow God has now comprised his standards!!! Now no now more 1 sin like Adam and Eve committed will be enough to sentence a man to death!! Now you can stumble/ sin thousands of times after salvation as long as you repent and didn’t mean it or so it willingly or your sorry!!!! Where did this nonsense come from!!

Andrew Farley: The point is that Christians are saved by grace but Christians also are JUDGED BY CHRIST when He returns and all sins will be made bare or made known and none will be hidden on the day of judgment. Given this fact, there is a great price to be paid even by Christians if they continue to sin or transgress God's moral laws. it will mean a loss of rewards in the kingdom of heaven even if you are saved by grace. Also, a person who falls back into a sinful nature is analogous to King Saul of the old testament who initially had been led by the spirit of God, but then became self-focused on preserving his own power at any cost, including sinning by transgressing God's moral laws. He lost God's favour and died tragically-- is there any one who believes that King Saul was acceptable in God's sight in terms of heaven? In the same manner, it is presumptuous for Christians who turn away from Christ and emerse themselves in apostasy of intentional and habitual sin (moral transgressions) to believe that they will keep God's favour-- as I believe that they also (like Saul) will lose God's favour, and it is up to God (not our own reasoning) to decide whether their initial conversion had been genuine and true (or whether their faith was choked out by cares of this world or Satan was able to snatch them away because they opened the door to lusts of the flesh). Christ talked about enduring to the end and persevering in the faith and gave many parables about how faith could be lost (e.g., the parable of the sower, the parable of the house built on a firm foundation) etc., that suggest that we must be diligent in our efforts to preserve our faith which is manifested through our obedience to Christ (for if we love Him, then we will obey Him, as Christ said). Therefore, I believe it is presumptuous and perhaps naive for Christians to take their own salvation for granted once they have fallen into a sinful way of life (or habitual sin) even after accepting Christ-- or to walk away from the faith by emersing themselves into apostasy or occult practices, etc. and I do believe that REPENTANCE IS THE KEY bu that REPENTANCE MUST ALSO BE GENUINE WITH A REAL EFFORT TO OVERCOME THAT SIN (whether addiction or moral shortcoming) and not simply use GRACE AS AN EXCUSE for continuing to sin and expecting God to overlook those transgressions (when there was no genuine effort to overcome or resist those sins or temptations).

Please read the replies of those who take the time to post on your face book or You tube with as much patient diligence and respectfulness as you do when the replies accept or agree with everything you say... as I hope you do take the time to read this very carefully and reflect on it. What does it then mean when there are verses that make it clear that we incur the disfavour, or wrath of God (which is perhaps worse than just a momentary and brief disapproval)-- do you then presume that falling out of favour with God (like King Saul had) means that you still receive salvation? You are twisting God's word then to justify a sinful life and EXPLOITING grace for the license or freedom to continue a sinful life. It means that repentance has not been genuine if a person can continue disobeying God and living a life of sin. I think you are being very CONCRETE AND LITERAL in your thinking when you cannot see that God's wrath or disfavour would mean that grace was not conferred to a person whose heart never truly repented and if they fall back into sinful ways (without due diligence to overcome sin and without repentance) then their faith was a mockery and their repentance was a sham. Surely, God knows the difference between a con job (i.e., false or pretense at repentance) and genuine repentance which means then walking in obedience in that your ATTITUDE MUST BE A DESIRE OR WILLINGNESS TO OBEY-- it does not mean perfection and being sinless. You seem to confuse the issue of attitude of obedience with perfection (without sin). You certainly are not kept out of heaven or lose salvation because you told a lie just before you died-- but it is an attitude (heart) of disobedience in terms of lack of due diligence in trying to obey God, and lack of repentance when you do momentarily fail. Surely, God would know if you, Andrew, told a lie and then got hit with a truck-- surely He would know whether your heart was repentant already the moment you committed the sin and surely that would be then forgiven. If this is not clear enough, I can give you the links to other articles that are quite cogent by those in the ministry who I think are consistent with what I have stated here. God is looking for a heart (attitude) and mind set of obedience and repentance -- not willful disobedience which shows that their acceptance of grace was a mockery of their faith (as faith implies that you trust God, and if you Trust god, then you will seek and follow his guidance and obey his word in all matters). It is not that you lose your salvation because of one mere action (like the examples you gave to that caller) but rather that it represents a heart and mind set of unwillingness to obey the commandments of God, and to fully surrender your life to Christ (then your acceptance of Christ and your repentance was never genuine if you cannot do this).Read more Show less

Pamela Kukde 1. I am not Andrew Farley. 2. You said a lot, but none of it's confirmed in the scripture. 3. I like to keep things scripture oriented. My words, nor yours, mean anything if they aren't confirmed by the scriptures. I asked you one simple question which you could not answer because it exposes your false doctrine that eternal salvation could be list. By definition, eternal means forever, so if it could be lost, that means it's not eternal which would mean God lied. To prove your view of lordship salvation wrong, I'll use your example of Saul. Luke 13:28 says "There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out." ALL the prophets will be in the kingdom of God. 1 Samuel 15:31 shows that King Saul was a believer ..."So Samuel turned again after Saul; and Saul worshipped the Lord ." Unbelievers dont worship God. Psalm 14:1 "The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good." and verse 4 "Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the Lord." 1 Samuel 10 shows that Saul prophesied, this making him a prophet. Verse 6 "And the Spirit of the Lord will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man." Verse 10 "And when they came thither to the hill, behold, a company of prophets met him; and the Spirit of God came upon him, and he prophesied among them." Verse 11 "And it came to pass, when all that knew him beforetime saw that, behold, he prophesied among the prophets, then the people said one to another, What is this that is come unto the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?" 1 Sam 28:19 also shows that Saul went to paradise to be with Samuel in Paradise. It's reads "Moreover the Lord will also deliver Israel with thee into the hand of the Philistines: and to morrow shalt thou and thy sons be with me: the Lord also shall deliver the host of Israel into the hand of the Philistines." Why did God take him home early? Verse 18 tells us "Because thou obeyedst not the voice of the Lord , nor executedst his fierce wrath upon Amalek, therefore hath the Lord done this thing unto thee this day." How did he not obey? He was consulting with witches (occult) instead of seeking the Lord.

JESUS PAID IT ALL: YOU ARE VERY JUDGMENTAL, ACCUSATORY, AND HARSH IN A MANNER THAT DOES NOT PRESENT YOURSELF AS AN EXAMPLE OF BEING CHRIST LIKE. Did it ever occur to you that I was not sure that my post had gone through and I am not a blogger as you are (perhaps by trade) and am not accustomed or familiar enough to know that the comments needed to be kept to a particular thread and that you would check under that same thread. For that reason, I posted it on the main section where it said to add a public comment. YOU ARE VERY ACCUSATORY, UNKIND, AND JUDGMENTAL when you disagree with someone and those are not qualities that will make you a GOOD CHRISTIAN EXAMPLE that would bring others to Christ. J
Since you are not Andrew Farley, then please IDENTIFY YOURSELF BY NAME. If you do not identify yourself, then it might give the impression that YOU DO NOT HAVE THE COURAGE OF YOUR CONVICTIONS BUT PREFER TO HIDE BEHIND YOUR CHANNEL NAME. Andrew Farley's name was given in relation to the video and I was addressing it to the person who spoke on the video.
You conveniently ignore what Christ had said, making Jesus Christ a liar because you dismiss and do not take what he said seriously-- OR DO YOU HAVE AN ALTERNATIVE (CONTRIVED) WAY OF EXPLAINING AWAY WHAT CHRIST SAID IN MATHEW 7: 21: Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ (Matthew 7:21). A person who practices lawlessness is the person who continues to disobey Christ and ignore his commandments, while professing to be a Christian.
Do you not understand that the ABOVE STATEMENT BY CHRIST is a clear admonishing that Christ himself can DENY YOU for disobedience and can anyone really delude themselves into thinking you can be acceptable in the presence of Christ if they ARE LAWLESS AND DISOBEY HIS COMMANDMENTS BY ENGAGING IN WILLFUL SIN OR HAVING AN ATTITUDE OF SIN WITHOUT REPENTANCE? You need to take the words of Christ seriously AND I believe you are instead cherry picking the verses you want to in order to justify that Christians would have the freedom to continue to live a life of disobedience that is no different than the unsaved-- in this case, accepting Christ has produced no transformation by the holy spirit and you must be BORN AGAIN (transformed which means a new life in Christ) in order to enter into the kingdom of heaven.
I respect your views but respectfully disagree in part because I am referring to a disposition of the heart and mind towards being disobedient and unrepentant due to pride (and made it clear that I do not believe that a single sin would condemn someone as the trivial examples given in the video, such as telling a white lie and dying before you repent).
We will both learn the truth when we stand before Christ -- who will have a clear conscience -- the person who has obeyed the commandments of Christ or the person who has EXPLOITED GRACE (like a license to sin) and has the ARROGANCE to think that He is made acceptable simply by professing Christ with his words while his ACTIONS SHOW HIS LACK OF REPENTANCE AND LACK OF LOVE AND OBEDIENCE OF CHRIST. Now, I have explained that it is not one sin that would cause a person to be denied the presence of Christ (i.e., Christ would deny them) but AN UNREPENTANT ATTITUDE OF PRIDE AND A HEART THAT IS DISPOSED TOWARDS CONTINUING TO SIN. Please read what is said carefully before responding as your last post went into a lot of irrelevant verses rather than addressing this one point directly as restated herewith. Please address this one verse and exactly what Christ meant by it if you do not understand that it refers to disobedience to the law and is in reference to professing Christians who do all sorts of things (even preach to others) in His name.
Please remember that you are dispensing spiritual advice and claiming knowledge of the scriptures and so those who teach and preach do indeed have the responsibility of making very sure that they are correct in their interpretation of the scriptures and I trust you will make a continuing effort.

The need to repent is shown by the fact that, right at the beginning of his ministry, Jesus began preaching the gospel, saying “repent and believe in the gospel” (Mark 1:14-15). "Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves (Matthew 7:15). The apostle Paul is very clear about the possibility of us committing serious sins that offend God. He tells us: “Do not be deceived; neither the immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor robbers will inherit the kingdom of God” (1 Corinthians 6:9-10). Well you're certainly not going to hell for adultery. People don't commit sins to become sinners. They are sinners by nature and that is WHY they sin. That is why Jesus said you must be born again. The sins of the whole world have already been paid for. But they need the righteousness of Christ applied directly to them. The only reason people go to hell is because they don't have Christ. People are either in Christ (saved) or in Adam (lost). Here 👇 is the Gospel if you haven't heard it. Hope it helps. God bless.

Thank you for preaching the truth! If we could keep up with "repenting over our daily sins", (thought and deed) then we wouldn't need Jesus and His ultimate sacrifice on the cross. We would be like the Jews who try to observe all the laws and try to be good people, in order for God to forgive their sins. Are the Jews doing it right? No, everyone needs Jesus to go to heaven, not their own good deeds -- our good deeds are filthy rags to God! We don't depend on our repentance record, we depend on Jesus and His precious Blood. His is the way, the truth and the life and no one goes to the Father unless through Him alone, in faith alone, by grace alone!

I have a sad warning testimony as well. I have been a christian struggling with backsliding for about 8 years. My mother was the one who introduced me to knowing about the Lord. But I was baptized around the age of 20-22 about. She herself has been backslidin into alcohol since my dad passed away when I was 9. I had been given many warning chances by the Lord to fix my ways of living in pornography and masturbation addiction since I became was addicted around age 10 or 11 I think.
My addiction became so rampant that I started to develop fairly serious health issues as a manifestation of my sin. Around the age of 25 or so I had numerous blood circulation issues with clots because of bad diet, exercise and anger problems with my mother. And I called on Jesus to heal me of this and he did in a short time and then not long later i fell again into my addiction and had a worse situation happen, i had a cooking accident where a coffee grinder lost the plastic wing nut and got mixed into oatflour for cookies. I developed a plastic/resin poisoning which had no known ability to cure beside 1 hour food poisoning remedy with charcoal powder which i ofcourse didnt know i was sick until a day later. Again blood circulation began to fail and i had one of the most extreme fights of faith with multiple near death experiences to find healing from the Lord lasting over a month. He poured brand new blood into my body to heal my infirmity.
Now this is a saddest part.
I did something I just can not understand how I allowed myself to do. I have always been a loner sort of individual and so having no woman to care for I fell into something far worse than pornography, I had always had an interest in paranormal and at somepoint in my seeking Jesus and what felt like shortly after Jesus healed my heart failure, I fell into temptation to seek a succubus spirit wife for sexual pleasure. At somepoint i willingly made comunication to allow the evil spirit to "share my energy" it was the worst choice of my life. It grew into a horrific demonic stronghold that kept planting evil seeds inside of me. Now because of this Im going to burn in the worst fire pit for evil cowardly christians.
2 weeks ago i was what i believed to be set free from idolitary to my phone, reading fantasy stories and binge watching youtube, as well as losing interest in most other time wasting evil hobbies like porn and lust. I began to have a desire to choose seeking Jesus again and put away all my worldly cares. I began trying to fast and immeadiatly was hit by alot of demonic attack inside my own body. Everyday it got worse to the point i was not able to find sleep as i continued to seek the Lord more and repent of all my sin to be delivered. Today i listened to a very powerful demon deliverance prayer on youtube and was feeling the presence of God, the demons become quiet in and around my body, but a few minutes into the prayer i had a vision of a gargoyle like demon manifest on my ceiling and was made aware that i committed a sin willingly when involved with the succubus. Within a short instant i jumped up saying "no" out of denial and fear. Then i immeadiately started to feel the presense of not only God withdraw from me but a feeling of spiritual coldness come over my hands and feet. My mouth is instantly dry after drinking water continuosly, no matter how much i drink. I have lost the feeling of conviction and lost the ability to cry or shed tears, regardless of listining to gospel music or worshipping Jesus. I believe my soul is already in the worst hellfire, and these are the manifestations.
I have always been antisocial and had a partial fear of public interaction so i never spoke to many people about Jesus more than telling them Jesus loved them and for a short week or two trying to give out small pamphlets with the salvation prayer and the importance of it. I have lived a rich mans life with few works of trying to help others and am going to pay the highest price. God did everything to take care of me and because of this unforgivable sin i rejected His love and doomed my eternity.
I feel compelled to add my testimony, it is exedingly shameful and i honestly agree that some one like me deserves to burn in the worst pit for falling away from Jesus so easily ESPECIALLY after he had just recently healed my body over 3-5 times.
I hope this reaches someone before they make a lifestyle choice like mine.
Jesus is all we have. And im in the worst place in existance right now forever. May the Lord convict anyone reading this to change their life choices.

Sorry to hear about your fears and failures, but you are not beyond redemption. The Bible says...
Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
Do you want *your* name written in the lambs book of life? Well believe in Jesus Christ that He shed His blood for you at Calvary when He died for all your sins, past present and future, that He was buried and rose again the third day. He appeared to over 500 people at once and is now seated at the right hand of God and will come back one day to judge the living and the dead. Trust in Jesus Christ *alone* as your personal saviour and *nothing else.*
Rom 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Rom 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Once you trust in Jesus Christ alone as your personal savior, NOTHING can separate you from the love of God. *NOTHING.*
John 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
John 10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
Stop worrying about your sin. Once you trust in Jesus Christ it's gone, erased forever, separated as far as the east is from the west, never to be remembered again. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of our faith.

The system that wants you to work for your own self righteousness is the same class system as Egypt. The world doesn't want you to enter into the promised rest of Christ Jesus. It's just like pharaoh making us tread and make brick without straw. The devil wants us to be stuck in the wilderness with him by getting us to complain and question God and look behind us. The world wants us to go back to what we knew and were used to. Thankfully for us greater is He in us than He who is in the world. Christ will not un-seal you once you have placed your faith in Him and have a relationship with Him. Do not lose hope and keep your eyes on Jehovah because what He promised will be so. He calls the things that are not as though they are. He simply says to come and follow Him. True faith will not depart from us as if you truly walk away for good you never believed in your heart in the first place. It is not about what we did or can do, it's about what Jesus did, does, and will continue to do. All He asks is that we love Him and desire Him only. Don't turn aside to superstition or fables. Don't pick up a vice and be ensnared in spiritual bondage. A vice is called such because it closes in on you slower and slower until you are gripped and it wants to choke the life out of you so you don't call on Jesus out of shame, guilt, or remorse. True repentance needs no explanation as look at king David when He realized what He had truly done to another man to gratify his desire. He was torn apart by remorse and afflicted his soul crying out to God in sorrow. The Lord sees our hearts and is faithful to forgive us when we come to Him broken and contrite over our sin. Drink of this offered cup of mercy and truth He has for us as this cool water will come flowing out of you as well, being that you choose to receive it. The reason why people reject Jesus is because they are afraid of their sins being exposed not realizing God already knows their sin. We do not need to confess our sin unto man unless we choose to do so with a brother/sister in Christ so we can receive righteous council and proper building up and edification, being corrected in meekness and of gentle spirit lest we be further tempted to hide behind the figs. The Lord will allow us to suffer certain things for a season or a reason to build up our understanding and our relationship with Him. All we have to do is believe and be open to His teaching and corrections. It isn't always for or about us either as He does this so we can deliver a message or so we can help a fellow believer. We can never know or have too much of Christ. God is in everything, everywhere with His signature on all creation and on and in every day. There will always be a lesson and a blessing when you belong to Him and sometimes the blessing is the lesson being one in the say as wisdom is more valuable than fine gold and we are to Yah more valuable than any other created thing. He made us from dust and breathed His spirit into us and if He so desired He could take it right back. Let us not waste our gifts any longer and walk in the Spirit and fullness of God, the Lord Christ Jesus in whom the Father is well pleased. And if you don't know Jesus, fall on the rock while we are in this age of grace lest the rock fall on you. Jesus is the rock and the stone which the builders reject. Be glad when the world rejects you because it means you are following Christ. Blessed are you when they speak evils falsely against you and revile you for HIS name sake. Honor is not fitting for a fool and there is a way which seems right to a person yet the end of which is death. Don't seek to be successful and store up riches on earth, seek to do the will of the Most High and these things shall be added to you. Christ is our treasure and all we must do to lay hold of Him is forsake the world and our own understanding and ways, die to yourself realizing we are all inpatient, intolerant beings having been poisoned by sin from the enemy. Pick up your cross as Christ already carried it for you and He will help you. The whole of the law is this. Love God entirely and put Him first in your life and love any other person as yourself. Rely on Christ for help and lean on Him. Don't turn back to useless idols and don't begin to treat others poorly out of self loathing. Bring all your faults immediately to the mercy seat at the feet of our beautiful Messiah Yahshua Hamashiach and you will be healed. He is Jehovah Rapha the healer and Jehovah Jireh the provider. We shall cast our crowns before Him as He is worthy. May peace and blessings follow you all for all the days of your life in the mighty mighty name of Jesus amen! :)

No, repented and received Christ. The list (fornicators, Adulterers, homosexuals..) that’s simply a short list of sins and it’s telling those people who practiced those sins that they have been washed.

I feel I still have a one way ticket to Hell. I committed Adultery while Married. I felt like my Marriage was falling apart and used it as an excuse. I even told myself how can I call myself a follow of Christ and God when here I am I am sinning against what he says in the Bible. I still have no idea where I stand and fear I will see Hell.
Looking at my decisions I have made, I regretted it, I hated myself, I felt unclean, and worthless. There will never be a good statement or excuse for anyone to go off and cheat. All I can say is I do believe in Christ and God and believe in his word and I do not expect forgiveness or him to acknowledge my prayers as they would feel empty and worthless.

You do not have a one way ticket to hell. Adultery can be forgiven. King David committed adultery. He then had the husband Uriah killed. So not only did he commit adultery, but he also murdered a man. He was saved and is in heaven today. He is listed in the Hall of Faith in Hebrews 11. Listen to what the apostle Paul says about David...
Rom 4:6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,
Rom 4:7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.
Rom 4:8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.
God is NOT imputing sin to people today. Why? They were all laid on Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world. That would include ALL sin. Every single one...past. present and future.
When Jesus Christ died for your sins, you were not even born. He already died for every single sin you ever have and would commit. He was buried and He rose again the third day.
The Bible says the wages of sin is death, Rom 6:23. That means if there was one sin that Jesus did NOT pay for then he would still be in the grave. But, again, he rose from the grave on the third day proving that God the father was satisfied and that death was conquered. He appeared to over 500 people at once and then ascended into heaven. One day, very soon, He is coming back to rapture the church and then pour out his wrath on those left behind. Why?
2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2Th 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Because they rejected Jesus Christ and His free gift of everlasting life. You can be saved today! If you believe the Gospel (1 Cor 15:1-4) and put your trust in Jesus Christ ALONE to save you. If you do, at that moment in time, God gives you everlasting life. You cannot lose something that last forever or it wouldn't be eternal. That is the good news of the Gospel. But, if you reject that payment Jesus made for you and try to work your way to heaven or add something to the finished work of Christ, that is your one way ticket to hell. The choice is yours friend. All of these people are in heaven. Not because of anything they did, but only because of what Jesus Christ has done for them. Meditate upon this verse...

Act 13:39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

You don't turn from sin to be saved, that is not the issue. A person either has the righteousness of Christ or doesn't. He is either in Christ or not. Once a person is saved, they are free from the penalty of sin, even if they continue to live in sin. If they, as now a child of God, don't turn from sin God will chastise them, meaning discipline them. God doesn't threaten his children with hell. That is a perverted way of thinking. I just watched the video , concerning Jesus and his cleansing of all our sins . I'm so proud to say that I've gotten so close to God . In my morning prayer that I do every day , I thank our Father for everything he's GIVEN me , every thing that he HASN'T given me and everything that he's TAKEN AWAY . I tell him how much I Love , Respect and Fear him . He's my father and teaches me everyday how to be a better person. Until 6 months ago , I was in a very abusively verbal marriage. I stayed for my daughters that mean everything to me . But I couldn't take it anymore and they both understood. There was no love , no friendship or affection for 20 years. I'm not a man who would get involved with a women simply for physical gratification. However , I'm so very lonely and would so much appreciate to have a woman who is also a Christian as first friend and perhaps something more as time passes. I dont know what to do. I don't want to sin , because it's disrespectful to our Father . Is there any advice you can give me ?

Love is also sacrifical and it means giving the person you love the right to know the truth and not controlling them because you don't want them to leave you. They have a right to decide if they want to remain alone or reconcile with you but if you withhold truth to them you break their trust even more. Control, manipulation and deceit is NOT an act of love.

I like this explanation since I was saved at 19 and was so happy and free and stayed repentive of my sin that occurred from time to time cause of temptation that I was enticed by. However I did eventually subcom to a sinful lifestyle again as a backslider preacher who was angry and hurt by things occurring in my life. At times God would try to recall my repentance and he looked for my heart like the lost sheep mentioned in the Bible but I was addicted to alcohol, bitter and now fallen away into daily sin. I believe if at that point I had died yes I would have missed my chance to enter heaven because I forfeited my rights to my once saved or daily relationship with Jesus and the holy spirits conviction. Years passed by and I would attempt to get back and repented and felt the security and peace of the saving grace of Jesus but again would stray away and backslide on my faith and sinless covering. The marriage to the backslider is true in that he never revoked the rights and ownership of my soul like the husband is married by law to a wife until divorce in the earth realm but by gods standard that wife never is released from that vow without his permission. So in closing yes I do believe if you fall away and embrace sin and leave god you will end up in hell if you do not return through repentance and put away your rebellion into sin but the power of his love and pursuit is much stronger than we even know in that he will never stop searching for his lost key word LOST sheep! Yes you can be in the herd and stray away but he will leave the 99 to try and get you back before wolves or sin kills you in that lost condition
Stay with the shepherd and the herd or body of Christ don’t rebel and run from him and stay repentive and his promise is yours!

Your rambling incoherence makes absokutely no sense. By your own admission, you couldnt repent of your sin and thats because the strength of sin is the law, 1 Cor 15:56. Turning from sin is a work...
      Jonah 3:1,10 KJV
And the word of the Lord came unto Jonah the second time, saying, [10] And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.
We arent saved by our works...
      Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Since we are saved by grace, its 100% grace (unmerited favor) not a mixture of Gods grace plus your works that saves...
      Romans 11:6 KJV
And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
Today is the day of salvation! Jesus Christ shed His perfect blood for *you* at Calvary. He died for *all* your sins (past, present and future) according to the scriptures, was buried and rose again the third day according to the scriptures. He appeared to over 500 people at once and then ascended into heaven. He is coming back one day to judge the world. All he ask _you_ to do is believe He did this for you and for you to put your full trust in Jesus Christ alone as *your* personal saviour and He will give you eternal life. You cant lose something that last forever or it wouldn't be eternal. That is the good news of the gospel! 🙂

No one is completely self aware, and we tell ourselves lies all the time, even unintentionally. We are human, easily muniplated. You need to listen to it again. No one is saying sin is OK. Although adultery (all sin) is bad, a person can be saved and choose to live as an adulterer and still go to heaven. They won't escape the consequences from that here on earth and they will lose rewards. So they aren't getting away with anything. But they don't lose their salvation because they chose to walk after the flesh. That's why there is the doctrine of chastisement, read Heb 12. If a Believer couldn't sin there wouldn't be any point in God disciplining his children.

@BWills953 When Jesus died for your sins, how many of them did he die for? All of them. When he died for all the sins of the world, you and I weren't born. All our sins were in the future to his death, burial and resurrection, so Jesus Christ died for all your future sins. When a person believes the gospel (ua-cam.com/video/pbjpU_f_xIM/v-deo.htmlsi=zC62Z04Ut68_VSzf) and trust Jesus Christ as their savior, they receive the new birth, the Holy Spirit, which is perfect and cannot sin. When a person sins, it's their flesh that sins. Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, so yes an adulterer can go to heaven if he is born again, because he has the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ within him. All his sins are already forgiven.

Takin doctrine says if we even pray for forgiveness, that is also works, and will send us to hell. So if that were true and he is also preaching on forgiveness. Then , why would we go to hell for that? I hate when I sin. God’s ways and thoughts are higher then our’s. He says if another man looks at a woman with lust and , he’s married , he already cheated on her in his heart. I don’t think we will be fully without sin, until our flesh is dead. He said that flesh and blood cannot enter the kingdom of heaven. Do you have any teachings about revelation’s, as I’m finding that hard to understand. As well as ifGod is coming pre, middle, or post tribulation? Will He make His kingdom on earth ? Will He reside in Israel ? Ugh, too many different beliefs. What if you are taught the wrong one , bc you didn’t understand, will you go to hell and be accountable for not getting all the right knowledge. He says my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. I always assumed He was referring to the physical life? I’m starting to believe, it’s more eternal now?

    • @JesusPaidItAll
      @JesusPaidItAll  6 років тому +3

We are saved by believing, not praying. Some people believe while they pray, but it's not the prayer that saves.
No one will ever be without sin. 1 John 1:8 says "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us."
1 Cor 15:50 says "Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption."
That means our sinful, mortal bodies will not enter into heaven, because it is corrupted through sin. That is why Jesus said to Nicodemus in John 3:7 "Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again."
The Bible says that when a person believes the Gospel that Jesus Christ died for their sins according to the scriptures, was buried and rose again the third day that they receive eternal life and that God will NEVER lose them.
I have several teachings on revelation and the rapture...

The Bible says in 2 Tim 2:15 "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
You need to study it for yourself and not lean on men to teach you. Once you are saved, you are saved forever.

Keeping the sabbath was part of the old covenant for the Jews. We live in the dispensation of grace and are not bound by the law which was given to the nation Israel. If you have believed the gospel and put your trust in Jesus Christ ALONE as your personal saviour, God gives you eternal life which you can never lose. There was nothing you did to earn it, because it was freely given to you through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, so it stands to reason there is nothing you can do to lose it. You're not saving yourself, Jesus Christ. He said he would never leave you nor forsake you. Paul said NOTHING can separate you from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. You can worship Jesus whenever you want.

Repentances of unbelief, repentance towards God and faith, belief in Jesus Christ saves permanently. Now growing in grace, you’ll be made aware through your conscience of sin you’re committing, and consequences and chastening will encourage you to do better, but your salvation is not contingent upon your performance it’s contingent upon the blood shed by CHRIST for your sin who saves permanently. As far as the biblical sin of adultery, remarrying after divorce, and by the way divorce is between you and your spouse the reasons aren’t identified, it’s remarriage that is the sin. We live committing many sins. This sin is not a NON SIN after salvation. You don’t remain there in and it becomes okay, but it’s not a sin that will keep you from heaven. The only sin is unbelief that will keep you from heaven.

Yes. God has already forgiven all your sins. If you are not saved though, that forgiveness is not applied to you. How does a person get saved? I'll explain...
Jesus Christ, who is God, lived a perfect and sinless life. He shed His perfect and precious blood *FOR YOU.* He died for *ALL* of your sins (past, present and future) according to the scriptures, was buried and rose again the third day according to the scriptures. He appeared to over 500 people at once and then ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father. One day, He is coming back to judge the world with righteousness. All He ask is that you believe He did this for *YOU* and put your full trust in Jesus Christ _alone_ as *YOUR* personal saviour and He will give you eternal life. You cannot lose something that last forever or it wouldn't be eternal. That is the good news of the gospel! 🙂

So, when you sin, you do need to repent, but why do you repent. It’s not because you are no longer “unsaved”. That would mean you are saved and unsaved every day all day. James and yourself don’t understand salvation and sanctification.

I think the caller was confused with habitually sinning and true repentance- which would mean turning away from. Either way, God will forgive- however- forgiveness doesn't mean you won't still reap the consequences of your sin. God will still judge, but not to the point of sending you to helll

    • @JesusPaidItAll
      @JesusPaidItAll  2 роки тому +2

Repentance is a change of mind, not a turning away from sin. For instance, look at Matt 3:2 which says "And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." The verse only says repent, not repent of sins. When you add to God's word you get into a world of confusion. Now if you continue reading down to verse 9, it says "And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham." Notice the words THINK NOT? These Pharisees had to stop thinking (repent...change their mind) that because of their Jewish ancestry they would make it into the kingdom of heaven.
Luke 13:3 and 5 also use the word repent, but if you look at the context (similar to Matt) notice the words "suppose ye" in verse 2 and "think ye" in verse four. You suppose or think with your mind. Those people whom Jesus was talking to THOUGHT the Galilaeans and those whom the tower of Siloam fell on were worse sinners than they were. They needed to change their mind (repent) about what they thought or worse destruction would come upon them.
False teachers have added the phrase "of sins" to the word to create a false doctrine. No where in the Bible is that phrase even used. The book of John was written so that people could be saved (20:31). Not once does he even use the word repent. He does use the word believe, in its various forms, approximately 90 times. People do need to repent for salvation, meaning change their mind about what they think saves them. Should a person turn from their sin? ABSOLUTELY, but NOT to be saved. An unsaved person is dead in their sin and trespasses. Turning from their sin is not going to make them undead. They need a new birth and that is what Jesus taught Nicodemus. What was Jesus' answer Nicodemus' question about how to be born again? John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." If you continue reading to verse 18 it says "He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." The only thing associated with condemnation is belief. Why? Because Jesus Christ has already paid for the sins of the whole entire world and one must believe, not turn from sins, go to church, be a good husband/wife, keep the 10 commandments, etc.
Eph 2:8-9 says "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." This shows us what the Gospel IS (a free gift of eternal life, by grace through faith) and what it is not (not of ourselves, our works). Rom 11:6 says "And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work." Grace and works cannot be mixed, not one bit. Salvation is either by 100% grace or 100% works. It's can't be both ways. If a person wants to be saved by works (repenting of sin) how much of the law must they keep? ALL (100%) of it. Gal 3:10 says "For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is everyone that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them." Those who are seeking justification through their works, apart from Jesus Christ ALONE, they are under a curse. Why? Because they have not kept the whole law. But what does it say in verse 13..."Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree:" We have been redeemed through His blood...His death, burial and resurrection.
The grace of God is beautiful. Titus 2:11-12 says "For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;" Grace teaches us to how to live an honest and upright life, not live in sin as false teachers claim. Does that mean a believer can't abuse God's grace? No, the prodigal son did just that, but he was still a son. Did the father reject him? No, he welcomed him back home and rejoiced.
People who trust in their works are rejecting Jesus Christ. They are saying his one time offer for sin was not good enough and that my friend is a terrible thing. Jesus Christ is God Almighty. His grace is MORE than enough to cover all our sin. When Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sin...all of our sin was in the future. He was buried, he put those sins away and three days later he rose from the grave in bodily form thus proving that God the Father was satisfied with His payment for sin. Repent about what you think saves you and believe in Jesus Christ ALONE.

Yes, porn (sin) is a bad thing. It's the very thing that separated you from God and the reason He died for you. If you continue in that it's going to ruin your life before you know it. You are going to look at every woman that way and miss out on what God has in store for you. Those women are not objects , but daughters, sisters, mothers, etc. They are made in the image of God. You shouldn't be seeking joy at the expense of others. If you have not believed the Gospel and trusted in Jesus Christ alone as your personal saviour you are not going to heaven. You do not have to turn from your sin to go to heaven or stop your bad behavior, but I don't know why you would want to continue in that sin knowing what God has already done for you....assuming you have believed the Gospel and trusted in Jesus Christ alone as your personal saviour. • @JesusPaidItAll
      @JesusPaidItAll  3 роки тому +1

All of our sins were future to the cross of Jesus Christ. He didn't look down through time and say hmmm, I am going to forgive this persons sin until they believe, but then it's up to them to maintain their salvation. Roman's 11:6 tell us its either ALL works or ALL grace that saves us...not a mixing of the two. Eph 2:8-9 tell says we are saved by grace, NOT OF WORKS. That means works dont enter into the equation. Acts 13:38-39 tells us we are forgiven of ALL sin the moment we believe.
      Acts 13:38-39 KJV
Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: [39] And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
If all doesnt include even your "furure" sins than all of our sins werent forgiven and that would make God a liar when he said in John 5:24...
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
A person who has Christ cannot come into condemnation. Why? Because they have passed from death u to life.
That is why Paul says believers are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise unto the day of redemption, NOT unto the day they sin again...
      Ephesians 4:30 KJV
And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
This is how we can KNOW we are saved, 1 John 5:13. If we werent forgiven all our sin, and we could lose salvation, then we could never know we are saved, because there could be a time in the future that we could "lose" it, but we cant.

If you aren't OSAS, you believe that you have to earn the rest of the way to Heaven. Hi Samantha, I don't really follow Farley all that much (only video of his I posted) but this video he nails it. I know you already disagree with the hyper-grace, but I would urge you to consider not what man says, but what the Bible says about grace...
1 Tim 1:14 And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
Eph 2:7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
2 Cor 4:15 For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
2 Cor 9:14 And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you.
Rom 5:17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
Rom 5:20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
So if you notice, grace is described as exceeding grace, abundant grace, exceeding abundant grace, grace abounding _much_more.
You are free to disagree all you want, but the only grace the Bible talks about is exceeding (or hyper if you will) grace. I hope you consider these passages and your beliefs. These aren't my views, I just posted what the Bible says.
I am glad you're enjoying that series on probing difficult scriptures. It's fantastic and very edifying. It's an 8 part series, so I will upload the rest soon. Thanks for the comment, have a nice night. 🙂

From what I remember of a blog that I read about him he doesn’t think that you have to ask for forgiveness when you sin as a Christian. Which a Christian can sin all they want and still be saved and God will punish them for it, like any good Father would. But we are suppose to ask for forgiveness when we sin.
