Regarding the HGA invocation, I see it this way (in part, thanks to two anecdotes of Lon Milo DuQuette's): if the real meaning of exorcism is "binding by oath", when you truly exorcise yourself, you are binding yourself to the compliance of your oath, i.e. your true will, hence the HGA.
Having said that, I totally agree on tweeking the ritual in order to get K&C.
I just realized acts chapter 2 was a massive ritual where multiple people recieved this at the same time! So that why nobody seems to have power anymore in the church. Because after this secret was lost the key to the door was also.
The point of Liber Samekh may be identifying with and containing the 'lower' so the 'higher' can enter into it's proper place without being misconstrued as something from the 'lower', like a demon.
