    You don't have to cut the top off. It twists right off. Zero waste and you can put the top (bottom) in water, let roots grow (it's quick), then plant in soil to grow your own. Be patient tho. It takes 2 yrs for a pineapple to grow, but it'll be the best pineapple you've ever tasted.

      How do you get rid of pesticides on the skin?

    • @JuiceByNature
      @JuiceByNature 6 років тому +3

      Lydia Lim well it depends because there’s various ways. First you have to watch what you’re consuming on your day to day basis. You also need to have your immune system up to par. But wheat grass, Chlorella, working out at the gym ( Sweating removes toxins through the skin ) consume extra vitamin B3 or niacin, you will increase your sweat output, thus improving the amount of toxins you eliminate from your body , increase your fiber intake. *BUT* I would highly recommend for you to detox at least twice a week....
      *AND THE LIST GOES ON*
      But if you’re really interested let me know and I can get into further details. I hope the information I provided, answered your question.

      Juice By Nature I think you got me wrong. What I mean is how to remove the pesticide from the skin of fruit

    • @JuiceByNature
      @JuiceByNature 6 років тому +9

      Lydia Lim ohhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!! LOL! I’m so so so sorry. It’s very easy. Depending on what fruit it is, you can simply use a tea spoon of regular vinegar, or apple cider vinegar with water. You can rinse the vegetables/fruits thoroughly under your faucet. Also you Simply mix some baking soda with water to make sodium bicarbonate, then soak your produce for 10-12minutes.
      Or to avoid the headache just buy organic certified produce because By the FDA law, no pesticides can be used in the growing of these fruits and vegetables.

      Juice By Nature I use the cleaned organic skins and core with half cup of raw sugar/turbino and enough purified water to just cover in a crock. Add a weight to keep below water, a breathable covering and let ferment for 3 - 5 days. Strain, chill enjoy. Probiotics with healthy enzymes 😊

    Couple of things confused me about this post.
    1. Video states that there are benefits for your health, AND FOR YOUR BODY. I don't think you can have health without a body.
    2. If you "treat fertility", does that mean pineapple is used for birth control? I'm going to guess they meant it is used to treat INfertility. Right?

      You weren't confused. You just wanted to feel superior by pointing out a few mistakes the narrator made, even though what she was saying was very easy to understand regardless of her misspoken words

    Did you really just recommend pineapple for fertility, when doctors tell you not to eat it while pregnant? Or that it's used as a "natural" way to induce a miscarriage?

      hairy stick some people smoke or drink all through out their pregnancy. Just because you did it, or even of your kid was A-OK, doesn't make it a great idea.

      1) it boosting fertility and it being consumed while pregnant are two different things. Want to know the difference? Well boosting fertility means that eating pineapple will increase your chances of getting pregnant. Totally different from eating it while pregnant. Meaning, just because people think that pineapple is a natural way to induce labor, doesn't mean that it can't increase your chances of conceiving when NOT pregnant.
      2) That is not true. It is a myth and an old wives tale. You should avoid the core of the pineapple, as that is the part that may induce labor but only when consumed in very high quantities. Who eats the core anyway?

      Sarah W Hrm. So after spending some time on Google to reinforce my confirmation bias, it looks like I'm wrong re: 1). I am a dude and often jumble "pregnancy" into one big grab-bag instead of recognizing ovulation, implantation, and all the other steps as being individual. School'd again, damnit.
      Re: 2). though, it's not an old wives tale. The bromelain is bad for the pregnancy from about 2 weeks after conception. Yes, most of it is in the core, but "a little bit of poison is OK" is a bad way to think, even when it's the dose that makes the poison. But this is coming from a hippie who overpays 2x for ice cream just to get the one without a negligiable amount of carrageenan in it.
